This Saturday, Louisville will host Kentucky to play a game that will be very dangerous for Louisville.
The Jeff Brohm story here is simply remarkable. It's the kind of story that can rekindle your love for this sport.

Jeff is one helluva football coach. This Louisville team is not loaded with 5-star talent. Not even much 4-star. But, they play HARD. And, they play SMART.... usually. They are still kids.
Lousville is a program that tried all the "Sweet treats" to get to success... Bobby Petrino, Charlie Strong, Satterwhite... All coaches who improved them, but then left for "greener pastures". Now, we have a coach who LEFT "greener pastures" to come home. There's a belief here, that.. THIS coach, may stay for a while. We'll see. I suspect, Jeff is going to end up somewhere else... but, it might take some time. And when it comes, I think it'll be so obviously a good deal for him, few here will question his decision, or home-town loyalty.
Kentucky has had a disappointing season. But they still have pride, and a good coach as well. All the Kentucky players are well aware of the accolades coming Louisville's way. This is the kind of game that can bring REDEMPTION for the Kentucky team. Nothing better than sticking it to a local rival.
This is the ultimate "trap game" for Louisville. Of course, few people understand this better than Jeff Brohm. It will be interesting to me to see how Louisville handles this challenge.
