If you're not exactly passionate about the bowl division early PSEGs ,starting tonight, there is the DIII national championship game tonight on one of the ESPN channels plus a DI semi-final (S Dakota State...the dominant FCS program vs Albany St.), also on one of the ESPNs. I attended a bunch of those DIII champ games in Salem, Va and got to see those powerful Mt. Union teams of Larry Kehres, the single most difficult HC to beat in the history of CF , at any level, and the St. John's, Mn team of John Gagliardi......who won more CF games than any other HC in CF history at any level. Those DIII kids are basically students that love playing football. They have no athletic scholarships or million dollar NIL offers from the big business pro CF factories. The low income ones might get need based scholarship help like any other student but watch how hard they play for that NCAA championship trophy and each other. It's pure, love for the sport, college football.
