ESPN has toned down the love for the SEC overall, not just Finebaum, thats based on what I am hearing. The tone now is "Good conference, could be the best, but not heads and shoulders above the rest".

They hype is crazy...Dinich had an article yesterday saying the ACC's playoff hopes depend completely on ND, and making all sorts of comparisons to tOSU from last year.
They gave ND an 83 FPI last week. FPI is a crock of shit just like their QBR nonsense.
ND went 3-2 in the ACC last year and 6-3 outside. ND negotiated a sweet deal, but they probably weren't counting on 1-3 ACC losses per year to spoil their hopes.

I have been wondering about the FPI they keep showing. What is it supposed to mean?

ND will lose a minimum of 3 games this year and the first may come Saturday against Georgia Tech.
