Bolton has too much baggage...too much policy, not enough practicality for Trump, IMO.

That was about as vague as one could possibly get! You could have substituted highly experienced, respected and no nonsense.

How is the King of Bankruptcy going to let Puerto Rico get off the hook, to the tune of $74 billion, following decades of wasteful spending? Does Trump know that, in 1984, Congress expressly forbade Puerto Rico to file bankruptcy? Does he realize that, even if he could wave a magic wand and make Puerto Rico’s debt disappear that it would still be saddled with nearly as much future debt in unfounded pension obligations? “"They owe a lot of money to your friends on Wall Street and we're going to have to wipe that out," Trump told Rivera. "You can say goodbye to that." The better question is why should Puerto Rico be allowed to get away with decades of mismanagement and irresponsible spending, when U.S. states are being held to account for similar misdeeds? Each Illinois taxpayer proportionally owes $50,000 in state debt, and tens of thousands more if they live in Chicago and Cook County. Each New Jersey taxpayer proportionally owes $67,000. www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/10/03/trump-on-puerto-ricos-debt-were-going-to-have-to-wipe-that-out.htmlwww.ilnews.org/news/state_politics/illinois-second-worst-in-state-debt-worst-in-taxpayer-trust/article_f2ef98ba-9d43-11e7-9504-afe0923de4e8.html

Lol. I guess that I could have opened up my laptop and corrected it. Too lazy.

After listening to John Bolton, I take it back. This is nothing more than face-saving, and would have zero impact on the treaty. Trump campaigned on pulling out of the treaty. Bolton advises that he should do exactly that.

Another bad poll for Trump — AP this time. As with the Reuters poll, if you are inclined to dismiss it as “fake news”, were the previous polls which were considerably more favorable for Trump also “fake news”? I believe both polls to be statistically accurate, within the margin of error. I suspect that the problem for Trump lies not with his performance or with his accomplishments, but rather with his divisive rhetoric. For most people, that would be a very simple thing to correct. But, perhaps not so with Trump. apnews.com/f7d770542f334a218398b2f9b2ae1102
