I hope Bannon is right - that there's a 70% chance the completely lost, ignorant buffoon is gone soon. Otherwise the nation, maybe the planet is in critical trouble. If it happens the 'base' will cry foul for sure but if it would just go and get educated it will better understand.

If it happens the 'base' will cry foul for sure but if it would just go and get educated it will better understand. Unlikely. Trump is easily positioned to be the best President in history.
Whether he succeeds in that remains to be seen.
He's turning the economy around, he's in the process of stabilizing the middle east (keep watching here over the next 2-3 years), he's ending the ridiculous social indoctrination of our armed forces, he and the DOJ are busting / exposing pedos and sexual predators, tax and health reform, confronted NK, securing the borders, etc.
He's one of the few, maybe the only president to actually let his cabinet members use their expertise.
He's unconventional and the rest can't keep up...he's always moves ahead.
He is the only one that can right America. This country is getting some confrontation therapy it desperately needed.
Lots of people say he's an idiot, but when I ask them to clarify, they can't. It's simply blind, unhinged hatred, nothing more. Just like the media, there is this pathological need to attempt to prove Trump wrong on every issue, but he plays them like a grand piano. All they can do is print another anonymously sourced story to sell the "trump is crazy" narrative.
And people who are invested in the narrative tend to believe anonymous sources, go figure.

Is that a stab at comedy ?

The “best President in history”? Better than George Washington? Better than Abraham Lincoln? Good grief.
I would agree that Trump is positioned to be considered among the great presidents. That isn’t because he is an inherently great leader, but rather because nearly everything had bottomed out by the end of Obama’s second term, and the only way is up.
Thus far, Trump has failed nearly every test as a leader, but has excelled in personal actions, particularly executive actions. His appointments, albeit painfully slow in coming, have been mostly good ones.
However, he is scorned, ridiculed and not respected as a world leader, He continues to launch childish attacks against foes, friends, important leaders in Congress and subordinates in his own administration. He has failed to lead on nearly every significant legislative initiative.
Nonetheless, he still has ample time to grow into the job and become an effective leader, and to become a great president in terms of achievements. But, first he has to grow up.

Not at all.
He plays the part of the court jester to distract the media from what he's really doing. It's a strategy he has employed for a long time.
He and his international coalition are destroying NK's offensive capabilities as we speak. After the non-bomb seismic event that occurred on the surface on Sept 24, 2 top NK nuclear and missile program officials disappeared.
NK says they were "given other important assignments". Highly unlikely.
Mattis then spoke vaguely discussing special kinetic capabilities and our need to attack from space.
The UAE says SK special forces have been training Emirati soldiers, but most likely, UAE has been training SK forces on infiltration techniques, which the Arabs are masters at...this guy is wearing Jordanian special forces uniform...does he look Arabic?
Every year, Jordan hosts operation military exercises called Eager Lion. beginning in 2015, these exercises focused on training to destroy heavily fortified targets...non-American personnel were trained on how to guide strategic bombers to heavily fortified targets.
Who has heavily fortified, high-value targets that the rest world would want destroyed? Hmmm....maybe Iran and NK?
Trump has things under control.
Sleep well.

That was one of the most enjoyable works of pure fantasy I have read in a while. The only part that bore any resemblance to reality was that we have a president who plays the part of a court jester.

Sorry to disappoint, but it's not fiction.
Mattis is going to re-energize our armed forces, with Trump's backing and insistence.
The Germans did it early in the 20th century, and most recently the GCC did it.
All forces will be capable of special operations, not just compartmentalized groups.
SK Black Berets and Japanese SBUs (Japanese SEALS) have been training in UAE and Djibouti on infiltration and how to pass as NK.
Trump and Mattis have assembled a major coalition, leading a push to removed bad actors on the world stage. The Mullahs in Iran are likely next. IRan is skirting the JCPOA by getting NK to further its nuke program and weapons to avoid sanctions.
Some simply see Trump as bumbling and stumbling from one failure to the next, putting ketchup on a well-done steak and eating taco salads for the cameras and tweeting nonsense. Blind hatred.

tigercpa: Sorry to disappoint, but it's not fiction. FHF: If it wasn’t fiction, then I assume that you have credible sources to share with us. Perhaps you can convince that it wasn’t substantially made up.
tigercpa: Mattis is going to re-energize our armed forces, with Trump's backing and insistence. FHF: A no-brainer! Obama left the military in ruins. It would require a continuation of deliberate intent to not re-energize the military.
tigercpa: The Germans did it early in the 20th century, and most recently the GCC did it. FHF: Why didn’t you cite the most obvious model, Ronald Reagan, who restored America’s ability to effectively combat two major enemies on opposite sides of the planet simultaneously. Is Trump seeking to achieve the same state of power and readiness?
tigercpa: All forces will be capable of special operations, not just compartmentalized groups. FHF: I will give Trump credit for not being that stupid. Special operators are the elite of the elite.
tigercpa: SK Black Berets and Japanese SBUs (Japanese SEALS) have been training in UAE and Djibouti on infiltration and how to pass as NK. FHF: If true, who is coming up with these dumb ideas? Undoubtedly, South Korea has been training members of its military to pass as North Koreans, since WWII. There is no need to travel to the Middle East for training. But, training Japanese to pass for North Koreans would have been like training Italians to pass for East Germans. Incredibly dumb and totally unnecessary.
tigercpa: Trump and Mattis have assembled a major coalition, leading a push to removed bad actors on the world stage. The Mullahs in Iran are likely next. FHF: What other countries are members of this “major coalition”? Are they really going to work in concert to achieve regime change in Iran? How long will it take? What other “bad actors” will be targeted? Putin? Xi?
tigercpa: IRan is skirting the JCPOA by getting NK to further its nuke program and weapons to avoid sanctions. FHF: Iran has openly defied the agreement with its ICBM tests. Do you seriously think that Iran worries about sanctions? Do you believe that other signees to the JCPIA would go along with US sanctions?
tigercpa: Some simply see Trump as bumbling and stumbling from one failure to the next, putting ketchup on a well-done steak and eating taco salads for the cameras and tweeting nonsense. Blind hatred. FHF: You characterized Trump as playing the part of the court jester.
