What is wrong with having co-champions? Only ONE gets the bonus for admission to the CFP.

What is wrong with having co-champions? That is punting to the committee. The Big12 proved that won't work.

What is wrong with having co-champions? Only ONE gets the bonus for admission to the CFP. The ACC and the CFP are different animals. There is no reason why the conference can't have co-champions. It is certainly better than hiring a consultant to decide. The CFP could select one or two of the co-champions, or none.

The ACC Champion will be the winner of the CCG.
This tie-breaker is to determine WHO plays in the CCG is three teams in the same division all have the same record.

What is wrong with having co-champions? Nothing but they still would need to determine who represents the division in the ACC Championship Game...

That makes sense, but it seems that there should be a better way than using an outside consultant to make the decision. I suppose the odds are very low of it coming to that.

If three teams tie for 1st place at 7-1 in the division (with team A beating team B who beat team C who beat team A) I don't know why they can't use total Points For / Points Against in games against each other. For example Lville should get more credit for their blowout over FSU in this case vs had they just won by a point.

Agree, sounds like Swofford is passing the buck on this one

At least its objective even if a convoluted choice without transparency. Progress?
