Went from 17 teams controlling there own destiny down to 10.
B12 teams and Houston still need some help and with only one team surviving the P12 their chances are looking brighter. At this point, I think the B12 best bet is WVU. They have played a much tougher OOC and beat a decent KSU team despite making many mistakes.
Louisville drops to the one lose column and have a huge up hill battle as they now need Clemson to drop 2 games the get the the ACC CCG. If that does not happen they will probably need some 2 loss champions from the other P5s for that to happen.
The playoff picture seems a whole lot clearer right now.
1) Alabama - Just don't see anyone coming close to beating them right now. Although they have a young QB they have never lived and died by the QB.
2) Ohio State - Continues to be completely dominating on both sides of the ball. They have a veteran QB and a bunch of young talent that seems very focused.
3) Clemson - Great win against Louisville over coming a lot of turnovers. Seem to be getting better every week compared to how they looked early on.
4) Washington - Dominating performance over the best team in the P12 the last few years.
Michigan is clearly in the picture but not sure if they are at the level of tOSU
Louisville still in the mix but a loss and no clear path to get to the ACC CCG will hurt
Houston can't be overlooked but needs Oklahoma and Louisville to win badly
TAM and Tennessee play to get in the mix. Way too many squekers for UT to think they can run the table
Miami is the one team that no one is talking about. They have a veteran QB and have been dominating in every game thus far. Beating FSU will go a long way.
