The way things are going, CPA may want to book a flight to Cincinnati to collect on his eventual win in the 2016 TTJ football pool. His 4-1 record last week gives him a 5 game overall edge over Bevo and the Hen while the Herd Fan and Hero continue to battle it out for the bottom spot. Here are the updated standings with last week's scores in parenthesis...
1. CPA 18-7 (3-2) 2. Bevo 14-11 (1-4) 3. Blue Hen 13-12 (3-2) 3. Evil Vodka 13-12 (2-3) 3. AJ Buckeye 13-12 (2-3) 3. Doc 13-12 (2-3) 7. Hero 11-14 (3-2) 8. Herd Fan 10-15 (1-4)
So here are the games we'll be picking this week. All games are on Saturday, October 8....
Iowa -2 @ Minnesota
Texas +10.5 vs Oklahoma (Red River Shootout)
Notre Dame -1 @ NC State
LSU -2.5 @ Florida
Indiana +31 @ Ohio State
Virginia Tech +2.5 @ North Carolina
Army +4 @ Duke
Tennessee +6.5 @ Texas A+M
Alabama -13.5 @ Arkansas
Florida State +2 @ The U

I went from first to worst in 3 weeks. Is that a record for futility?
Iowa. I am gambling that the Hawkeyes are not as bad as they seem.
Texas
LSU
Ohio State
North Carolina
Alabama

Check me again, Doc.
I have my record as 3-2 not 4-1.
Utah / Memphis were my losers.

Memphis gives up a late score...
Utah has 7 tries inside the Cal 10 yard line to win the game...

Check mine again also, Doc. I think I was 5-0, rather than 1-4.

Check mine again also, Doc. I think I was 5-0, rather than 1-4. Sorry, still adds up the same! By the way, you picked 6 games this week; that could give you an advantage - or given the way the past 2 weeks have gone - a disadvantage!!! You may want to drop one of your picks from the list.

Texas +10.5 I think OU is going to CRUSH UT this weekend...That's why I'm glad I will be in China. But, I'm not allowed to pick against Texas in this competition
LSU -2.5 I don't believe this line. Without Miles, LSU should be giving 12+
Ohio State -31 Buckeyes learned their lesson last year.... they're SPANKING everyone, friend or foe.
Texas A+M -6.5 The clock strikes midnight for the Cinderella Vols... Aggies will pretend they're playing against the REAL "UT".... they roll over this pansy pastel orange
Alabama -13.5 Trap game.... Bama didn't look great last week. Hopefully, Hen was right... they were looking ahead and will be ready this week.

First, I'll say that I'd be highly surprised if the LSU/UF and FSU/The U games get played. With this in mind, I'm going to avoid these games....
Minnesota - Gophers let a game slip away last week at PSU but they'll be ready against an Iowa team that's a shell of their 2015 edition.
Texas A+M - Vols have already pulled 3 rabbits out of the hat, the miracles stop on Saturday.
Virginia Tech - Hokies are scoring points and UNC may have a hangover following last weeks miracle in Tallahassee.
Arkansas - Not saying they'll win but Meathead occasionally finds a way to hang in games they're not expected to win.
Oklahoma - There's a lot of heat on Charlie Strong - this could go either way. But since Oklahoma suffered their only regular season loss in this game last year, I think the Sooners will be ready on Saturday.

Minnesota +2
Notre Dame -1
Duke -4 Texas A+M -6.5 - going with consensus here, Vols have been exhibiting that Auburn horseshoe up the ass lately. Florida State +2 - 2 questions, is Miami any good? Will FSU fight or fold?
