The jury was not sequestered and to see riots on the verge of breaking out and having Maxine Waters incite a riot while asking for Police escorts to get to Minneapolis is simply outrageous. I did not watch the trial so I can't comment but you pretty much new what the outcome would be. To be a cop in this day is not worth it. You are put in a position that you have to deal with the worst of society and make a split second decision and if it is the wrong decision you could end up doing 25 years. The shooting in Columbus is the perfect example. The initial reaction was to hand the cop. Lebron added his 2 cents tweeting his picture and your next above it. When you look at that incident that officer had a fraction of a second to react and pull the trigger. He clearly made the right decision considering the girl was trying to stab another. When I watch that video I had to watch it in slow motion to really understand what happened. That cop did not have that luxury but thankfully for him he interpreted the situation correctly. Now, we all have hours to think about what he SHOULD have done. I don't know why ANY cop would have ANY interest in that job anymore. Every day, you're one wrong decision away from death, or worse. I guess liberals have never heard BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PRAY FOR. SMH

The worst call ever...or no call as it were. Sure made THE FIX IS IN folks look like prophets. The Browns were one of football’s first dynasy’sand actually won 7 football championships in 10 years , while appearing in 10 championship games in a row with Otto Graham at QB. (Between AAFL and NFL.) I would agree with your rankings to an extent the only caviat I’d throw in there is of that list I would say the Browns have the best history, they were a very respectable franchise until the 1990’s and hopefully they’re on their way back up again. Just couldn’t get over that damn Elway roadblock( they played Denver in 3 AFC championships in the 80’s) One of my favorite QBs of all time. Bernie Kosar

Guys I loved who could make a pretty good sub on your team. Dwight Stephenson C-Bear said he was the greatest player he ever coached regardless of position. Woodrow Lowe LB-There is a small list of players who have been three time ALL AMERICANS. Don Hutson WR-He could do anything and play both ways. I think it was SI that called him the first modern receiver.

LOL Doc, you are the MASTER of lists... I don't know how I'd ever pick an entire team from the vast group of college football players. I KNOW Earl Campbell would be on my team. Along with Barry Sanders At WR, Randy Moss and Jerry Rice, and probably Corey Davis. He was dominating in college. At QB? Man... there have been a bunch. Peyton Manning was as good as any QB I ever saw in college. Joe Burrow in his last year was phenomenal. Interesting fact: I just went to look at some ALL-Time College stats. Wanna guess who the Top Two are in the All-Time, Career Passer Efficiency Rating? Kyle Murry is #3. Both of these guys were considerably higher rated. Burrow is #8 on the list!

I think the Super Bowl win vs. the Colts purged a lot of demons...the Saints have been pretty dominant for the last 10 years, but I really don't understand how they didn't pick up another trophy during that span...they had some really flukey losses in the playoffs.
They were flat out robbed in that game vs. the Rams. A Saints-Patriots Super Bowl would have been epic

Wow. Share some with Texas! Wilson and Njigba are both from Texas but I believe Wilson grew up in Ohio and moved to Texas for his dad's job - he's always been a Buckeye fan. Buckeye's have picked up some solid players from Texas recently. As has BAMA. I remain astonished that two Brockermeyers played in the Spring Game. If you can’t recruit a Brockermeyer to Texas, you are in the wrong business.

So far, I have seen no case where the team that was MOST deserving was left out. I really haven't seen any that weren't defendable, at least at some level. But, only for the 4th position. There are a lot of potential positives about having a larger field. That's why I consistently say, I'd like to see 8. I don't think ANY of the Champions thus far have been underserving, or own a trophy that's less valuable than those won by the Div 2 or 3 schools. Take the top 4, and the next 3 conference champs
That would give you (for 2020): #1 Alabama #2 Ohio State #3 Clemson #4 Notre Dame
plus #6 Oklahoma - Big XII Champs #8 Cincinnati - American Champs #12 Coastal Carolina - Sun Belt Champs
Then play it off, with #1 getting a bye. First round at college stadiums
#12 Coastal Carolina @ #2 Ohio State at the Horseshoe #8 Cincinnati @ #3 Clemson in Death Valley #6 Oklahoma @ #4 Notre Dame in South Bend
I like the idea but seeding is difficult in a seven team playoff starting in round two.

Bama held out a number of starters including a couple of OLs and the most experienced WRs and RBs. The defense looks sharp. Brice Young looks like the starter at QB.

The part of the game that is hurt is that the strong will get stronger. If you are one of the Big 3 (maybe 4 with Oklahoma) and you have players that don't quite develop and end up deep in the depth chart they are likely going to go somewhere where they get an opportunity. This opens the doors for super stars on lesser teams to join one of the Big 3. Ohio States starting QB and RB both came in from the transfer portal. As long as we keep the format of the CFP at 4 teams you should expect 3 spots go to OSU, BAMA, Clemson, and Oklahoma. Exactly the way I see it.

I never had a problem with sitting a year after transferring. The NCAA in all its wisdom has created a pure free agency which will benefit very few. The cream will be high profile transfers many will move down a level and the rest will fall through the cracks with nothing. Young people need to think long and hard about big decisions. Facing a situation where you have to sit out a year was good for them as it really made them think. The holy NCAA could not organize pouring piss out of a boot without making a nasty mess. I think the rule is bad for college football but BAMA will be glad to scoop up a little more cream. IF you have graduated and want to go somewhere you should be able to do anything you are good enough to do. No questions asked.
