The Redskins owner has already decided to keep the "Redskins" nickname. What do you propose should be done about it? If "Redskins" is a derogatory nickname, why do you suppose that an American Indian high school uses it? Do you have a problem with Cleveland using the nickname "Indians"? American Indians don't have a problem with the nickname, but they do with the "Chief Wahoo" logo. I find the current use of the term "Native American" to be offensive. I am a 100% Native American, even though I don't have a drop of American Indian blood in me. There is no such thing as an American Indian... And what we call "Native Americans", are actually tribes....Seminoles, Cherokee, Choctaw, Hopi, Utes.... I am only offended in the stupidity of it Indians are from here:

Sorry you are offended, Mr. PC, but more American Indians prefer to be referred to as American Indians (see link below). The term "Native American" is garbage. I am every bit as much of a Native American as is any American Indian. If some wish to be identified by their tribe, that is equivalent to a Caucasian desiring to be identified as an Irish-American. The term "African American" is genuinely stupid. Africa is a continent, not a race! There is a double-digit number of countries in Africa that are predominantly Caucasian. Ditto for "Asian American". A large number of Asian nations are predominantly Caucasian, Israel for example. Even the term "white" for Caucasian is also idiotic. There are hundreds of millions of black Caucasians.
