Good question. I know that Fritz Kuhn had his photograph taken with Hitler in The Reich Chancellery during the 1936 Olympics. But, Mein Kampf was published over a decade earlier.
So, I would guess Woodrow Wilson, because he was president while Hitler was serving in WWI, and because Wilson died shortly before Mein Kampf was first published. Just a guess.
Incidentally, Mein Kampf was banned from being published in Germany after Hitler's death until last year, when it entered the public domain.

I recall that Hitler was an admirer of William Tecumseh Sherman.
Sherman was in charge of a quarter-century campaign in which U.S. Army troops under his command killed tens of thousands of Indians. Sherman, ironically, referred to this as the "final solution to the Indian problem". Several Generals under Sherman's command carried out the genocide, with equal lack of mercy being shown to women and children.

Lol. Actually, a good guess given the clue, but Wayne was a teenager when Mein Kampf was first published. Maybe he was referring to industrial production? Like Henry Ford? Hitler did have a fascination with automobiles. Hence, the autobahn and the Volkswagen.

I would have made a movie-related guess, like maybe Charlie Chaplin. Ford was a manufacturer, not a producer. So, I assume that Ford is wrong. Maybe a music producer? Broadway? I am stumped.

John Ford? Or his brother, Francis? Edison was a movie producer.
But, it isn't a movie producer...
