Buds, please talk me out of this :
Sept.9 features an absolute killer lineup of TV games -
ND State @ E. Washington Boise St @ Wash St Nebraska @ Oregon Pitt @ Penn State Montana @ Washington Auburn @ Clemson L'ville @ UNC UGA @ Notre Dame Jax St. @ Ga Tech Montana St. @ SD State TCU @ Arkansas Stanford @ USC Utah @ BYU and especially......Oklahoma @ Ohio State
..and I'll be way up in the upper deck of the South end zone just to see the Fighting Blue Hens run out on VT's Lane Stadium field to play my other favorite team. Might be well over by halftime. I'll eat the ticket prices if you'll talk me out of this trip which will eat up about 10 hours of Sept. 9. Thanks

I'm going to be in Portland, Maine participating in a 100 mile cycle ride on September 9. Fortunately the ride should be over by mid afternoon and we'll find a place to watch the Buckeye/Sooner game that night. Can't wait!
As for your dilemma, seeing my team play in person trumps any other game that I might be able to watch on TV. Go root on your Hens!

Go root on your Hens! ...even if your team has maybe 2-3 players that 'might' make VT's second string ? Since nobody has talked me out of it yet I guess we'll go but with an option of leaving at halftime if its a 3 TD deficit or more.. to catch most of OU/OSU.

That's just not me, Bevo but thanks. I don't know how. You don't know how to watch TV? Get one of your "fiddle kids" to show you. I bet they know! Well, Mrs Hen got me one of these mobile phones. I think I can use the ESPN app and keep up with some scores during the live game. You wouldn't believe how digitally challenged I am , Bevo.

LOL Hen, I've been one of the people trying to help you with that over the years. I believe you! But, it's not all THAT difficult. Practice at home, using the WatchESPN ap. If you can do it at home, you can probably do it at the stadium... at least, for a little while. Sometimes, when EVERYONE is in the stadium, the transmitters get overwhelmed. But, anyway... nothing beats seeing your own team in person. I think you should GO!

Definitely go to the game in person, especially since it involves the two teams you would most be interested in playing at the same time...there will always be great games on TV to watch every other week.
