I'm not sure how you viewed the game, but I thought it was neck and neck until the complete special teams meltdown by Florida State...that blocked punt really changed everything.
Then you had a fumble on the kickoff return, and two interceptions
...all in a 5 minute time span?? Just a really bizarre meltdown.
FSU has a really good D this year....that game could have easily been a blow out.
I hope Francois isn't hurt....but he still needs a lot of work. Idk...I'm skeptical of him really being a success
Alabama defense just reloaded. Their offense will probably roll over people too, but they need to get better to have a chance at top defenses.
really bizarre game...I felt FSU played well...Jimbo needs to do something about special teams. How many times did the kick returner bring it out to the 10 yard line? Just crazy to lose the game that way

The FSU DLine was crazy good. Speed at every position.
Jumbo has a high risk offense. I think he allows too many hits on the QB but that is the trade off for usually great offensive production. I was thinking in the first half some of the risky passes would eventually be a problem.
Special teams blocking schemes are a problem. I watched Saban's post game interview and he hinted at it.
Thanks
You have a lot to look forward to.
I hope Francois is not seriously injured. Bama had 4 LBs hurt in the game. FSU is so physical.

I don't recall a defense getting after Alabama's offense the way FSU did Sat. Night. That includes the LSU 2011 defense... Most of the time, Alabama eventually wears out a defense. Even Clemson's defense in the championship had a hard time with Hurts at times. If FSU can get by on their D for awhile and let the offense try and gel, I could see FSU winning out. I'm not giving up hope yet, there's still plenty of football left

Utah's defense roughed up Saban pretty good, I think Bama averaged 1.21 yds per rush...something like that. It was LOS domination.

It was LOS domination. lol Yea.. in a game where Bama's TWO All-American offensive lineman on the left side didn't start the game (due to injury and suspension), and their center was injured in the first series of the game. I will NEVER forget that game... I knew then, that people would forever try to hold that loss against them. It was a FLUKE.. from before the game even started. The STRENGTH of Bama was not playing. Hats off to Utah for seeing a weakness, and taking full advantage. That's good coaching. But, it was a fluke... nothing more.
