This thread is about movies that could only be defined as polar opposites...
Last night I watched The Song of Bernadette from 1943 - wonderful old, film about Bernadette of Lourdes who had visions of the Immaculate Mother Mary back in the mid-1800's. Obviously many thought she was lying but she held true to her story and became a Saint in 1933, I believe. Great performance by Jennifer Jones and the actress who played the doubting nun, although I'm not sure what her name was.
Then I saw this link on The Smoking Gun about a different type of movie all together. all I can say is this never happens when I'm buying appliances at Home Depot! www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/crime/arkansas-amateur-auteurs-charged-962750
