Not sure if my old heart can take it.
Granted, it's been awhile since I've watched much baseball, but... they sure do things differently now, as compared to when I last watched.
I thought AJ made a big mistake last night pinch hitting for Verlander. With the leadoff hitter walked, I would have used Verlander to move him with a bunt. Then, taken my chances at tieing the game (or better).
Verlander was still throwing 96 mph. NO ONE on the Astros bullpen could be trusted. I STAY with Verlander until we're BEAT. These managers just don't respect great pitching.
I was pretty surprised (and HAPPY!) that LA pulled Hill too. But, I guess this is the new way?
Going to be a ROUGH GAME tonight.

They do seem to pull pitchers early. This should be awesome.

I'm not even going to watch...if Houston loses it's going to be heartbreak for this city
I'm not a huge baseball fan to begin with, and I'm used to the Astros losing....I've watched more MLB this year than ever. I've noticed baseball is a very stressful game, moreso than football and basketball

They do seem to pull pitchers early. This should be awesome. Old time baseball would look at a 6 inning outing for a starting pitcher as a minor 'flop' and 4-5 days rest between starts being for sissies.

That Hill is a bigger chowder head than John Lackey the way he throws shit in the locker after being pulled from the game. it worked didn't it?! Hope Houston can pull it out tonight

George Springer is the answer to the question.
The question is how did UConn beat Clemson in the CWS?

George Springer is the answer to the question. The question is how did UConn beat Clemson in the CWS? Very simple answer, cpa : UConn was allowed to actually 'play' Clemson...the essence of sport. Clemson would out 'vote' UConn 100 out of 100 times if the NCAA Baseball championship had a mythical=opinionated system. Heck, Coastal Carolina, would never have had an opportunity to win the 2016 CWS if it had to rely on a beauty contest election just to make the final four. Playing is so much better than voting.
