This system says the #1 team in the land, Central Florida, plays the 33rd toughest schedule...... and the #7 team in the land, Alabama , plays the 67th toughest schedule........twice as easy as UCF's schedule ( by cpa's logic) football.kislanko.com/2017/ISR_current.htmlWe don't need any Sagarin, boys.

Computer systems only serve to compare relative performances of teams. If you are expecting more than that, you're gonna be disappointed.
football.kislanko.com/2017/ISOV_current.html
If you see in the above, which includes a more balanced weighting UCF is #10, with a schedule rank of 85, worse than Bama at 59.
Anyone that thinks UCF has played a harder schedule than Bama, and should be ranked ahead of Bama, should be banned from all sports for life.
Official, all-inclusive NCAA stats says Bama's schedule (#38) has been nearly twice as hard as UCFs (#64).
I scanned the 6 BCS computer systems for their results: UCF rank, UCF SOS, (Bama SOS)
Sagarin 15, 99 (55) Hester 2, 45, (54) Billingsley 22, 102, (35) Colley 2, 51, (64) Massey 18, 84 (47) Wolfe 2, NA, NA
Key observation is that MOV based systems, where MOV is the primary factor have UCF ranked #2, and a stronger SOS.
Systems that utilize both have UCF's schedule ranked much weaker, by a factor of 2x or 3x.

On those Sagarin mythical SOS standings numbers, CPA, try just averaging his power index numbers for the 8 OOC teams we've been discussing. That will yield an average difference of about 3 mythical points per team between the two OOC slates...quite a big difference .
Good research but you've got over 100 mythical ranking systems to go before complete. They are all available at the Massey mythical Composite

They are simply comparisons of what has happened.
His power index is for predictive purposes. His primary rating is a combination of power, MOV, and schedule.
