The ASU marching band is going to repeat its halftime program featuring 'Devil Went Down To Georgia' w/Kitty fiddlin' again on Thursday night. She is going to use a lesser fiddle this time because of the cold weather ( She used my good fiddle last time) ...and get this , encouraged by the ASU symphony director, Kitty is applying for a full music scholarship and admission to ASU........she's 15 !

Great to hear. It was a great show last time. And good for her. I hope she takes it. Looking forward to seeing her there again.

Great to hear. It was a great show last time. And good for her. I hope she takes it. Looking forward to seeing her there again. ASU really wants her and the Berklee School Of Music in Boston as well as Vanderbilt's Blair school of music are recruiting her. Hope she goes ASU too and stays closer to home. That fiddle gets her a full ride somewhere.

Nice video. I am in the crowd shot at the end. 6 rows up, but could not find me. They have to work on that. LOL

Another spectacular performance. Such an amazing talent. I love ASU’s stadium. It is high on my list of all-time favorites. Been to several ASU playoff games there when the Apps were playing NCAA championship football. Can't get inspired by Sun Belt games in the exhibition ( bowl) subdivision. Yeah, 'The Rock' is a good venue. Parking in Boone is ridiculous, however. It is a beautiful drive through the mountains from home to Boone and back. Working tonight on a reference letter for Kitty's application for a full ASU music scholarship. She like it there . Hey if anybody is interested in Kitty's amazing 'Fiddle Gems' CD recorded when she was 11 contact me in a private message and I'll get you one .Its like nothing ever done before for that age and the back up is absolutely stellar with the best Blue Ridge mtn pickers available..and she let me twin fiddle on one cut with her !
