Texas would be the primary target, but I doubt they would come...Larry Scott already tried that
why not go after TCU and Oklahoma? The PAC 12 could be showcasing one of the top games tonight!
Iowa St., Rice, and Kansas would be decent expansion candidates as well
The PAC 12 needs to break out of their region and at least get a foothold in Texas

Are my eyes deceiving me? Did you really, really include Rice? The same Rice that can’t whip its way out of a wet paper bag? The same Rice that is a lowly 1-9 in C-USA?

Rice would be down the list of course, but they are a school with excellent academics + a huge market I'm just simply fleshing out a potential expansion candidate list for the PAC 12, which would probably be something like: 1. Texas 2. Oklahoma 3. Kansas 4. TCU 5. Iowa State 6. Rice |

Well, I was suggesting Rice for the PAC 12, and that was a very loose suggestion at best, and assuming that several other programs already said NO to a PAC 12 invite I think the PAC 12 needs to do SOMETHING...their football product is lacking lately. IMO they need some programs that reach further east....Oklahoma, Kansas, and TCU would be perfect additions |
