I love Ohio State, my uncle worked for the University and as far back as I can remember I've been watching Buckeyes games on Saturdays, but unlike many other Buckeyes today I'm perfectly fine with the selection commitee' s decision to choose Alabama over us. The Buckeyes were simply too inconsistent this year, they were loaded talent wise and seemingly knew it, they didn't looked prepared or that interested about Oklahoma, until they losing, and they were inexplicably unprepared for the Iowa game. This is a year where the Buckeyes looked awesome against Michigan State, and like they slept walk threw three quarters of to many games this year. JT Barrett either did not put in the work to improve as a passer, or just physically doesn't have the arm to be an elite QB, and I think a pretty decisive loss was coming our way against Clemson, because of his inability to stretch defenses. In a sport where perception and the regular season matter the most the Buckeyes were simply not good enough, nor consistent enough....ill root like he'll for them to beat USC IN THE cotton bowl....and look forward to next season with Dwayne Haskins at the helm

Agree. odd year for the Buckeyes.n. It can be tough to keep 18-21 year old kids focused.
