...Georgia
they are a typical SEC team, led by strong defense. I don't think they have the offense to keep up with Oklahoma or get many points against Clemson or Bama
I think they were lucky to get another shot at Auburn after the blow out loss. Auburn had to go play the Iron Bowl, while Georgia got Georgia Tech
If they make it to the Championship game, I think they'll get crushed by Bama or Clemson

Mayfield will be able to run it up as will Georgia's RBs.

Watching UGA vs Auburn reminded me a LOT of Big 12 games..... Lots of gimmicky hurry up BS. It won't cause OU any trouble.

Pollack says Mayfield will beat all comers, including Clemson.
Booger reminded him that Clemson had cleaned Mayfield's clock 2 years in a row, 40-7 and then 37-17. He didn't think Clemson's D would be scared of Baker.

What a surprise...ESPNs bowl previews have each game as a "nailbiter", so you need to tune in and watch to see what happens.

The Clemson-Alabama III contest at the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day is the most expensive Sugar Bowl in history with an average ticket price of $668 according to our good friends at TicketIQ.

Lehigh was the weakest team in the playoff , by far, and got appropriately dispatched in the first round.

Alabama got manhandled by Auburn. In their 2 wins against teams in the top 25 they beat LSU by 24 - 10 and barely got passed MSU. UGA crushed Auburn in the CCG and destroyed MSU. They also beat a decent ND team on the road. When looking at the eye test, I don't know what people see Alabama because there offense was just mediocre at best.

I'd be careful not to confuse multiple injuries with "weakness".
Hurts is playing much smarter this year, they have a stable of good RBs. Bama just waits for other teams to make mistakes, then they roll.
The receivers as a group might be weaker this year, and not having OJ Howard will be a blessing for Clemson .
I'd put Bama at 1, Clemson 2 and flip a coin for OK/UGA.

Lots of injuries on the defense specifically LB but there offense was pretty much in tact the whole season and was pretty mediocre as well. Personally, I would put OU at the top. There offense far and away above and beyond the other 3.

There offense far and away above and beyond the other 3. The problem I see is that Oklahoma's defense is ranked 57. Clemson, Bama and UGA are 5, 2 and 3. On offense 31, 20 and 37. In both bowl games against Clemson, everyone "knew" OK's offense would blow Clemson out.
