***Disclaimer as I've said before I think the Selection Committee made the right 4 choices, Ohio State didn't deserve to be in this year, and Alabama for much of the season looked the part of a top 4 team. The only school I think didn't get a fair shake was UCF, because they beat the same number of ranked teams as Alabama, but I also know South Florida and Memphis would have had a harder time in a Power 5 league racking up wins do to their lack of defenses.
-That said here we go, and the first prediction is gonna be a bit of a shocker.....I think Clemson is gonna house Alabama, before anyone agrees or disagrees this is more a testament to how good Clemson is playing, rather than any kind of statement of Alabama. Last Year for the Semi-Final Dabo had his team razor sharp and ready to play Ohio State...Urban didn't.....Clemson would have blown the doors off about 95% of the teams playing Div I football game, Ohio State just happened to be in the way, and that's the same thing that happened to Miami this year in the ACC Title Game. Dabo will have his boys ready to play, and on the opposite end....Alabama isn't as good as we're use to seeing them, and you can blame that on injuries....but by the 12th game in a College Football Season EVERYONE's HURT! The Buckeyes have lost offensive lineman and defensive linemen for the season, Clemson's had injuries, Auburn's been banged up, Georgia's been a little banged up, I've always been the type that says this late in the season everyone's a little banged up, that's why they have depth charts, injuries are no excuse. I think the biggest shock about this game will be Clemson will be able to move the ball, while the Clemson defensive line will be able to hold the Tide offense largely in check....Remember the LSU-Ohio State title game? LSU didn't completely blow Ohio State out on the scoreboard, but they dominated the game? I see that happening here as well. Clemson will win I'll go big Clemson 31, Alabama 14
Georgia-Oklahoma: I see a lot of people saying Georgia is the most vulnerable team in the Playoff here, but I don't see it that way, I think the Dogs have the defense and ball control offense to give Oklahoma tons of problems.
* If Georgia can jump on Oklahoma and get up by at least two scores early I think they can pull the upset. I see this game as a tight back and forth Semi-Final, Georgia will lead 21-14 going into the fourth and then the Heisman winning will work his magic. Oklahoma 24, Georgia 21
National Championship Clemson after Rolling the Tide faces the Heisman Winner in Baker Mayfield.
I think Clemson will draw first blood, but a jacked up Oklahoma teams hits back, and the teams exchange blows throughout the first half. Late in the second quarter though Mayfield will make a mistake and the Clemson defense will be begin to take control a bit, Mayfield will attempt to light a late rally in the 4rth, but the comeback falls short
Clemson 41 Oklahoma 31
