Georgia wins a shootout against the best of the Big 12, who... as a conference, had a pretty good Bowl season.
Bama absolutely DESTROYS the best team from the ACC, who looked mediocre as a conference in post season play.
The SEC, as a whole, was slightly down this year. They'll end up with a 5-6 Bowl record. That's a BIG number of games, but... not an outstanding number of wins.
However, the SEC will add another notch to the belt where it REALLY matters: At the top. Having GREAT players matters. Adding good coaching to that matter too.
Bad year for the SEC haters.

Will anyone outside the SEC watch? Potential for lowest rated championship.

Will anyone outside the SEC watch? Potential for lowest rated championship. Past SEC rematches had pitifully poor ratings. This is NOT in the "Cartel's" interest. But, I think Bama made the committee's final spot selection look pretty good.

I expect Alabama to win another title...sorry Bulldawgs. The fact that I think this should probably make Hero worry a bit, given my betting record of late I wish Oklahoma had won...Oklahoma and Mayfield vs. Alabama would be light years more exciting. Sorry, but Georgia Bulldog football is boring, and now it's an all SEC battle, and I don't see anywhere on the field where Georgia is better than Alabama

Georgia plays right into an Alabama gameplan. Alabama stuffs the run. Those huge runs against Oklahoma will turn into 2-3 yd gains against Alabama. Hurts doesn't have to be a good QB, he just has to use his legs, distribute the ball, and don't turn it over I would be completely shocked if Georgia won Alabama wins 30-14

I'll be pulling for Bama. But, it's crazy to say Georgia isn't better than them ANYWHERE on the field.

An all-SEC final, just like the CWS final in Omaha.
Not sure what the TV ratings will be but this might end up being the toughest / most expensive ticket in the history of college football. You have UGA playing in their backyard for their first natty since 1980. Alabama is a short drive over as well. Brand new stadium in the heart of SEC Country.

Big mistake to invite two SEC Teams.

A fellow Tiger alum and his dad bought 10 tickets for $500 each just in case we made it.
Just flipped them for $35k to a dawg family.

I was just thinking the same thing last night. The LSU-Bama rematch is what finally moved the ball toward a 4-team playoff. Having another all-SEC finals, PLUS having a 13-0 UCF with a win over Auburn MIGHT be enough to convince people to expand. This is, the BEST POSSIBLE SCENARIO for those in favor of expansion. Of course, adding MORE teams to the playoffs is not going to make having all-SEC Finals any less likely. In fact, the reverse is probably true. :-)

Imagine that.

So if you are in favor of playoff expansion, root for conferences to get two teams in like the SEC did this year and root for Notre Dame to take up a spot as well.
