Bevo was right about not blowing the whistle soon enough, we saw it in last night's game as well.
Mine:
Hand Fighting between WRs and DBs. It's gotten, well, out of hand.
I counted 3 pass interference "no calls" that were blatant on our first couple of drives. The 2 worst were Renfrow getting hit early on a 3rd down play and Higgins getting his hand pulled down on a potential TD play. Maybe a couple of 1st downs wouldn’t have mattered! Maybe they would have. We’ll never know, because crappy officiating intervened.
Anyhoo, on to my basic rant:
IT’S NOT HAND FIGHTING, IT’S NOT CUTE, AND IT’S NOT ALLOWED!!!!!!!
Once the ball is thrown, the defender isn’t allowed to push, pull, grab, poke, slap, trip, jerk, tug, hug, caress, fondle (getting a little side-tracked given the news lately ), or "hand fight" the receiver (and vice versa).
I’ve watched dozens of games this year where announcers say, "They’re just hand fighting; that’s a good no call."
NO!! IT’S NOT!! Whoever does the first hand grab, slap, or hold should be called for PI. Period. I’m sick of DBs grabbing hands and not being called! I’m sick of receivers pushing off and getting separation and not being called.
Start calling the crap, and it will stop!!

I agree.... as long as it's called BOTH ways. Once the ball is in the air, BOTH player have an equal right to it.
