Seriously, why do the SAME DAMN teams win ever year in lower division football?
Doesn't say much for the competition. Pretty sad too, that they played their CHAMPIONSHIP, in a High School stadium. Wow.
That said, sounds like it was a good game for the bisons. Like most of America, I didn't see a down.

I actually watched more of the FCS final game than I did of all 4 NFL playoff games this weekend combined. The playoffs essentially matched up teams that I think have little or no chance of getting to the Superbowl. I did watch my Buckeye Hoopsters put it to Sparty in a similar way that we handled them on the football field. Let's see if this selection committee keeps the Buckeye hoopsters out of the playoffs as well

Honestly, most of the Sun Belt and MAC should be in the FCS. Hell, why aren't the academies in the FCS? They would dominate. Navy would win multiple National Championships ar that level

I think this is the most wide open NFL playoffs that I can recall I am a Bengal fan and much more in tune to the AFC. From the AFC side Pittsburgh and New England are so far ahead of everyone else that wild card weekend didn't really matter that much. On the NFC side the Saints are probably the one legit contender to make it to the Superbowl but I still feel pretty strongly that seeds 1 and 2 will prevail on both sides. I am not sure if it was the kneel down thing or what but my enthusiasm for watching the NFL is way down. I haven't gone a personal boycott but it is just a matter of if I have nothing better to do then maybe I will tune in. I would expect that to change when it come s to championship weekend.

Kneeling thing aside, the quality of play in the NFL this year has been atrocious. I think THAT is their biggest problem.
If I have to pick two reasons, I'd say: 1) They have too many teams. The talent is too diluted. Going back to 30 teams would help. But, I see them planning to go the other way. 2) They don't practice enough. The last player's agreement severely limited practice time in pads. They basically don't do it anymore during the regular season. It shows.
During the playoffs, only the BEST teams remain, no naturally the quality of play improves. But, that said... I don't care what they say, the refs have been instructed to call FEWER penalties now too. That helps.

Since most of my viewing was centered around the Bengals I just figured that it was just my team that was atrocious. Because of Fantasy Football I did tune into other games and they just seemed to be somewhat slow moving and predictable. To me it seems like the defenses have caught up and surpassed the offense because a high powered offense that can move up and down the field consistently just does not seem to exist anymore.

Watched the NCAA D1 champ game, of course, and am enjoying the NFL playoffs. Maybe something is wrong with me but I just seem to enjoy football championships decided on football fields rather than in conference rooms.
