I really thought the Steelers would take care of the Jags the second time around but obviously I was wrong. Following the Bills game I just didn't think Bortles could pull it off. I also didn't think Leveon Bell would make an issue of his contract 3 days before the game or several of the Steelers would talk about a rematch with New England before they played Jacksonville but sure enough, they did. Now the Jacksonville DB is guaranteeing a Super Bowl win. I guess we'll see.

Lol I was wrong about Tennessee, although... I do think that BOGUS overturned Illegal procedure penalty was a turning point in that game... It gave the Pats a first down, which let them continue the drive that put them up 21-7. From that point on, the "rout was on". Had they punted, and the Titans managed to score, even a FG, I think it might've been a different game. Maybe....
I didn't get to watch the Minny-NO game...yet. My wife DVR'd it. For my money, I wanted the Saints to win. But, I've been a Vikings fan since I first started watching football. They were my FIRST team, after the Oilers, who were beyond pitiful back then. When I read the Box score, I couldn't believe it. A 61 yard TD with no time left??? WTF!!!
Miraculous! Historic! Naturally, cause Bevo had money against it happening. Oh well... I can't be upset with the Vikings win. I REALLY FEEL like this is their year.
The Cubs, Indians,Astros.... Now, the Vikings! Next year? The BILLS! HAHA!

If they ran the same play 99 more times, the Vikings wouldn't score again. That may have been the most get wrenching ending to a game i've ever seen. i was rooting for New Orleans but i can live with the Vikings winning. They've had their share of heartbreak (the kicker missing a 23 yard FG two years ago comes to mind) - I guess it would be cool to see them win it all in their own stadium.

Not "the kicker".. it was Morten Anderson. A HOF kicker that was the MOST ACCURATE kicker that year, and many years.. It's TOUGH to be a Vikings fan.

No, I'm talking about Blair Walsh a couple years ago - it was below zero and he missed a chip shot that would have sent them to the NFC championship game two years ago over Seattle. I couldn't recall his name when i pasted earlier!

Funny.. as OLD-TIMERS, I think we're the first generation in History to have our MEMORY challenged by the Internet. I SWEAR, I remember it being Morten Anderson.. but, it was GARY Anderson. And, yea... that was the ONLY KICK he misses all year. I also thought that was Daunte Culpepper's first year, but.. no.. it was Randall Cunningham. It's hell getting old. I think it's WORSE when the internet blows up your beloved memories. :-(

And how does that Saints DB completely whiff on the tackle....it does not look like he's trying to tackle at all. Makes you wonder about the NFL... And on the AFC, Steelers are out, and Patriots are still in....how big was that stupid call in the Steelers-Pats game back in the regular season? The Patriots seem to benefit A LOT from referee calls and weird things in Super Bowls

Since I live in the area, I'm rooting for the Jags obviously...but if they can't win it I really hope that the Vikings do. They are 0-4 in Super Bowls. Will also never forget that 1998 team missing the field goal that would have sent them to a fifth Super Bowl. What a story it would be for them to finally get back to and win a Super Bowl which happens to be played in their home stadium this year. Plus, they have the best uniforms in the NFL.

Did Brady hurt his hand? I thought I heard something about it? Yes, he has missed some practice.
