So that's all settled! I wish Burrows well and hope he's able to start where ever he goes, including Nebraska - let him go where he wants. I think this is best for everyone.
Haskins has a great arm. The Buckeyes are deep at RB and WR - he has all the weapons he could possibly need. It should be a high scoring year at Ohio State.

Shame... it's never a bad thing to have an extra QB. They have been known to get hurt at that position.

I hate to see the kid leave but I also know it would have been a tremendous distraction having them both on the team. I really believe Cardale and JT struggled because they were constantly looking over their shoulder to see if they were being replaced. This move lets Haskins know he is the guy, Burrow can hand pick where he wants to go to have the best possible situation for him and Martell can be #2 and get a lot of PT because I expect there will be some out of hand games somewhat often this year. Burrow graduated Sunday so he can play right away. I'm going to enjoy watching Haskins fling the ball around!

Some team will get a very good QB, Doc.

Bama is facing a similar situation this year. Hurts has been a fine QB and leader for two years. For some reason his passing has not progressed with the rest of his skills.
Enter Tua and leads Bama from behind to win an epic NC Game. I don’t think We can “unring” that bell.

We have TWO right now that are vying for the starter position: Jr Shane Buechel and Soph Sam Ehlinger. Both played a lot last year. Shane is, I think, a better passer and a better leader. When healthy, he's a "clutch" guy who just seems to get it done. Ehlinger is a BIG kid, and a much better runner. He's tough as nails, but... takes a LOT of punishment.
This year, we recruited THREE highly sought after QB's. Gonna be getting a little crowded in the QB study hall.

Some team will get a very good QB, Doc. Right now I'm hearing LSU, Florida and Cincinnati are vying for his services but Nebraska could also be in the game - Burrow's dad and brother played for the Huskers. The hitch there is I wonder if Meyer would try to block an in-conference transfer. I wouldn't, I don't think Nebraska is going to improve by 50 points by having Burrow at QB.

I heard Oklahoma at one point. I think that would be a great option considering the opening at QB and probably the most realistic chance to make it to the CFP.

It would be interesting if it's UNC given RB Antonio williams has already transferred to the Tar Heels. could they start 2 Buckeye transfers who were third stringers last season?
