Eddie George in this article has said" something is not right at Ohio State" nails it on the head. Ohio State this season is one of the few teams that potentially play with and beat Alabama, just ask the NFL scouts.....I'll go even further and say this year's team may put more NFL players into the draft than Alabama.....so why aren't the results showing themselves on the field? The team has regressed....Meyer is talking about health problems, it's looking eerily similar to his departure at Florida. I don't want to downplay Meyer's Cyst either because that is a legitimate health problem, but something isn't right with this team. George lands his own dagger by saying "The team has regressed since the beginning of the season." www.yahoo.com/sports/former-buckeyes-rb-eddie-george-150242586.htmlI'm not saying Meyer is leaving after the season, or that he has his foot out the door.....but I do think there will be changes this offseason if he stays

Ohio State's linebackers are just not up to Ohio State standards. And I have to wonder who's making the personnel decisions on defense. Borland and Werner are back-ups and continue to play. I'd play Hilliard and Browning - they'll makes mistakes but have more athletic ability. Both were 5 star recruits which begs the question, what kind of coaching are they getting? I also see Brendon White come in and he's a tackling machine - where has he been? We needed a player to get kicked out for targeting before White got a shot? I don't get it but I think the defensive flaws start at the linebacker position - if they aren't doing the job, get another guy out there...give him a shot to take the position. I thought Hilliard was solid against Minnesota. I've never been impressed with Borland or Werner - Borland is still living off making 15 tackles against Army last season who basically runs the ball right at the LB on every play.

Eddie George and my son were friends and fellow students at Fork Union Military Academy. Eddie used to intercept my care packages full of goodies and eat everything. My 5-9, 150 lb son didn't fight him over it.
