lol Conspiracy Nut heard from...
In other news, a space alien was seen flying over Virginia this past weekend. Wonder where they landed?
Is that what that odd looking thing was in my backyard ?
You still don't think Disney Co. runs CF...especially the post season ?.. It's the operational and media arm of the Cartel.
Look up the members of the CFP committee. I don't see an Disney or ESPN Execs on there. Just, football people... and a bunch of AD's from NCAA schools.
I think Disney would be THRILLED to not have Bama in the mix. There aren't THAT many people who live in, or are from the great state of Alabama.
Bama is a ratings KILLER! There's little mystery to the outcome when they play.

Disagree. Bama is ESPN't absolute broadcast darling..... hyped all week and put in prime spot slots regardless of who Bama custom scheduled.

I agree with Hen. Bama is like the New York Yankees of College Football folks...no way they are a ratings killer, even if Bama is a relatively small state.....many people tune into watch Alabama to see them lose as well and they are a national brand

Being in bed? The story starts off with Saban chastising an ESPN reporter. Hen.. I really don't know, or care what ESPN does. I never watch, or listen to them... except to watch a game they might be showing. It doesn't surprise me to know that they are interested in covering the BEST team in college football... maybe, ever... but, definitely for the past 10 years. There was a time when ESPN was interested in Texas too. So much so, they gave us $28 MIlliion a year just to televise our practice sessions. But, I 100% stand by this: TV Execs would MUCH rather have Notre Dame, or Ohio State be dominant. They love Bama BECAUSE Bama is good. Bama is NOT good BECAUSE ESPN loves them. There's a difference.

I remember the way ESPN treated USC during their run.

C'mon Bevo,
ESPN has the mega contract with the SEC and Notre Dame has an NBC contract yet you think ESPN would much rather be 'in Bed' with Notre Dame from a competing network ?.... rather than the star team from its own network ?

Notre Dame in the CFP would bring mega-ratings. Whoever gets to televise the CFP is praying for the Irish right now.

Disney owns the , so called, CFP and they are making sure Bama is locked in because it's their star program. ND is NBC's baby.
