This morning I somehow found a list of celebrities who the story claimed 'you thought they were dead but they're still alive and kicking.' One of the names on the list was Stan Lee and I thought to myself, yes - I did think he was dead. Well, guess who died today....

Sometimes I wonder about this “reality”. Every year, I think the crazy meter goes up a notch

Stan Lee was a big part of my childhood.
He was a master.

Stan Lee was a big part of my childhood. He was a master. I never got into comics...ever.
I look forward to the day when the comic-craze movie era ends.

My favorites were military based comics:
Sgt. Rock Unknown Soldier Combat
Also bought Avengers / Fantastic 4 with some frequency.

I tend to agree - I've seen a few of the comic movies but I usually become bored about 45 minutes in. I will say I really liked the Deadpool movies - not sure if they are Stan Lee, Marvel or whatever but I liked the humor.
I also recognize that there are people who love this stuff and for them Stan Lee's death is a tough one. I guess I'd feel similar if/when Paul McCartney passes- that will be a tough one for me. I remember a co-worker being despondent for about a week after Jerry Garcia died - have to admit I didn't get that one either!

I watched Deadpool 2 on my last plane ride... I was literally laughing out loud.
I don't dis-like most of these movies... I just "don't get" them. The THOR movies I liked. The Iron Man movies were entertaining.
But, there just SO MANY. And, for most of them... I really don't have a clue as to what is going on, or why.
