Brett McMurphy is back at it. This time he claims Zach Smith used a racial slur during an altercation with former player, Trvon Grimes. He said he wants to find out why the player truly transferred. If he wasn't out trying to bring down Urban Meyer in August he could have read the story below which clearly states why Grimes transferred - to be closer to his mother who was going through cancer treatments.
This time Brett may not get the same results as he did in August. Urban Meyer is pissed, Gene Smith is pissed, Ohio State's president is pissed, Buckeye players - past and present - are pissed. It's clear this guy has a vendetta against Meyer and while Meyer has been a little out of sorts this season, and who wouldn't be with all the crap he had to go through, I think today's news has restored his old, feisty self. He's not going to sit back and let McMurphy drag his name and reputation through shit again.
I think this will actually bring the team closer together than they have been all year. I think they're going to bust their asses for their coach. I think they'll take an us against the world mentality, I think the Bucks will win their next 3 games and from there we'll see how the chips fall.
As Little Bill Daggett said in Unforgiven...lets take McMurphy down like the mangy scoundrel he is. Here is truly why Trevon Grimes left Ohio State....
