The rules of the Marble Game:
- Each power-5 team started the season with 200 marbles, each non-power-5 started with 100.
- For each home win you take 20% of your opponents marbles. For each road win you take 25%.
- Neutral site games are treated like home games (worth 20%) for each team
- Notre Dame and BYU were given the privilege of starting with 200 marbles
- Fractional marbles get rounded to whole marbles at the time when they are moved from one team to the other.
ND, Clemson, and Alabama all won so, as explained last week, Bama falls to third and gets jumped by the other two. Georgia, Ohio St, Michigan, Wash. St, and Oklahoma all beat 'easy' opponents (though Maryland kept it interesting) and they maintained their positions as 4th through 8th. UCF stayed undefeated with an impressive win over Cincy and moved up to 13th.
Week 13 is gonna be huge. Big games include: ND at USC (30 vs 132 marble gain potential), SC at Clemson (158 vs 34 marbles), Auburn at Alabama (152 vs 38 marbles), GT at UGA (131 vs 51 marbles), Michigan at Ohio St (129 vs 99 marbles!), Oklahoma at W Virginia (83 vs 87 marbles), Washington at Washington St (121 vs 59 marbles), and LSU at A&M (61 vs 64 marbles).
Who knows which way all of those games are going to go, but if all the higher ranked teams win, the top three will stay the same and Ohio St will pass UGA into 4th and WSU will move into 6th.
Rutgers continues to be the worst Power-5 team.
