This is my prediction for a way too early look at 2019. This will be the playoff and next 2 teams
1. Clemson 2. Michigan 3. Florida 4. Texas 5. Washington State 6. Alabama
Clemson beats Texas Florida beats Michigan
Clemson beats Florida
I think Clemson is the team to beat, and I don't think there is anyone in the ACC to challenge them
I see Michigan finally getting over the hump and getting to the playoff, where they will once again be throttled
Florida comes out strong and beats Georgia, and then beats Alabama in the SEC Championship
Texas builds off of the momentum last year and tops Oklahoma with Hurts twice. Hurts is good, but he's not as lightning fast as Murray
Washington State wins the PAC 12 and gets close, but sits on the outside of the playoff
Alabama will have a great season again, but lose to Auburn and then lose to Florida in their last two games. Tua is amazing...we'll see if the rest of the team can keep enough players or if there is an exodus to the draft
And there you have it...Clemson dominates, and Texas and Florida break in to the playoffs

I'm curious how much research you put into your prognostications. Michigan lost a lot on defense and runs one of the most vanilla, archaic offenses in all of college football. There lack of defensive speed was clearly displayed in their final 2 games. On top of that, a number of players sat out the bowl game due to injury or not wanting to get injured prior to the draft - you saw the results. Until they prove they can beat Ohio state there's no way they can be projected as a top 5 team.
Georgia should be in over Michigan. Washington State won't sneak up on anyone and will probably lose 3-4 games. Florida, who knows.

That Finebaum tweet - Tua's TD/INT ratio when playing Top 30 defenses was like 6/8, but 35/0 against all other teams

Lol. I knew you were a Texas-hater, but 29?
You are, by FAR, the lowest of anyone I’ve seen.
