Anyone remember that Gillette razor ad last year that, more or less, accused all men of being sexual abusers?? It was designed and produced by a female Social Justice Warrior type, all WOKE, and probably an Elizabeth Warren lover...
After 45 years of using nothing but Gillette, I threw mine away and went and bought Schick... (which, can be hard to find.... such was Gillette's dominance)
Immediately after the ad ran, Proctor & Gamble was quick to make a public statement saying the ad had not hurt sales. Well, 6 months later, company financials now paint a slightly different picture:
For the quarter ending June 30, P&G announced a loss of $5.24 Billion, or $2.12 per share... due to an $8 Billion non-cash write-down for Gillette. In the same period last year, P&G reported income of $1.89 Billion, or $0.72 per share.
Apparently, I wasn't the ONLY person who told Gillette where they can put their SJW razors.
