Looking through the rankings, it is clear that when they put these rankings together it is clear that they are not taking the schedule into consideration because I see one clear oversite. Take a look at Washington's schedule. The Huskies have a proven coach and now have gotten a top notch QB thanks to the portal. I don't see them losing a game this season which should be enough to get them in (although with the meeting of those minds nothing is a sure thing).
Another Dark horse may be Iowa. They have very consistant program and this year they have the starting QB back. They do got ttun on the road but other than that the schedule looks very winnable.

I agree @ Iowa. They've been solid for a few years now, and should be much improved again this year.
In the PAC12, I think either Utah or Washington runs the table, and they get someone in the CFP this year. I kind of think the Big12 will get left out. We're too balanced. We'll knock each other off. Baylor is going to be a lot better this year than many people think.

I can see Washington at 9-3 or 10-2.

I wonder if the Houston Cougars can pull off the upset over the Sooners this weekend? I think that might be a pretty exciting game.

"the mCFP ". Very good, AJ. That or the DPI should be the correct monikers for this post season bowl event.

I''m going with Michigan State and Utah. They are loaded I think Iowa will get steamrolled by the East champ Michigan State had the worst offense I've seen in a long time last year - many said it was because Lewerke was playing injured but they were completely inept. They do have a defensive end named Kenny Willekes who was the best defender I saw in the Big Ten last year - an absolute tackling machine. On another MSU note - their field goal kicker, Matt Coghlin, is from our town and went to the same school as my kids. I'm pretty good friends with his parents and we attended their tailgate last year in East Lansing. He didn't start playing football till HS, he always played soccer. We watched him kick two FG's against the Bucks last year - only points MSU scored.

"the mCFP ". Very good, AJ. That or the DPI should be the correct monikers for this post season bowl event. The m stands for "Money", right?
Maybe, it should be "mm".... for Mega Money.

If that works for you then by all means go with it. Pretty sure Hen has a different definition. I will refrain from my actual definition so that this acronym works for everyone:)

I wasn't to far off with Iowa, they have lost some tight games. I completely missed the boat with Washington. Utah is definitely better than I thought they would be. They will likely win out the regular season and could have a showdown with Oregon on the CCG weekend. The issue the have is that they have no notable wins on the schedule to date and the loss to USC will haunt them if they get in the discussion.\
I never saw Baylor coming at all. They are still a surprise to me. It will be interesting how they finish it out.
