Our trip to Germany in August is officially cancelled. We were planning to do a week long bike tour but got word today from the tour guide that it's been cancelled. Earlier we found out that the Passion Play had been cancelled so I guess we'll regroup and do in 2022 which is when the play has been rescheduled for. We were also planning to visit Salzburg which is one of the places we visited on our honeymoon. Bummer!
And...given it doesn't appear full capacity will be allowed in football stadiums this fall, we decided to shelve the trip to the Oregon/Ohio State game as well. On the plus side, we're saving ourselves some money!

Bummer. Sounds like a great way to reconnect to the wedding day. Our spring break trip for my daughters senior year was cancelled but we rescheduled for mid June. It is still up in the air but at this point we have some hope. Also I heard that Covid 19 does not fair well in the heat so as long as the airplane doesn't get us we may be in good shape.

But, I'm not at all sure the cruise ships will be sailing by then. I'd go tomorrow, in a second, if they were allowed. We'll see. We had PAID a total of near $5k to go on a cruise in April. When it got cancelled, they offered us a chance to get our money back, or get 125% in credit. We debated, then decided it was better to get 'cash in hand". Turned out to be a great choice. We got our money back, and then they sent us TWO free cruise offers. Of course... we still don't know if they'll actually happen?

We're going up to Mackinaw Island and the UP next month just to get away for a week. We have a neighbor and close friend in Escanaba, Michigan so we're going to visit him for a few day, do some hiking and check out the shore of Lakes Michigan and Superior. He runs a paper mill up there so he's in Escanaba for 10 days then comes home for 5 days, he's been working like this almost as long as we've been neighbors.
