Not sure if anyone else (except Doc being a Reds fan) cares but the NL Wild Card race is one of the craziest that I have ever seen. There is one week left in the season and you have 6 teams all within a 1..5 games of each other fighting over 3 playoff spots. 2 Weeks ago the Reds were pretty much dead in the water but won 9 or 11. I actually watch parts of 3 games that all went the Reds way yesterday. My primary goal for the Reds was to get me to the start of college football. Not sure what it will take to get them to Oct 24 but at least they have a fighting chance. We have 7 games remaining with the 6 teams that are in the hunt this evening. First time in a long time I have been excited about watching baseball this late in the season.

We pissed one away last night - Gray was pitching too well to yank him after 5 innings, at this time of the year you ride your best. I've counted 8 games where bonehead moves by Bell have cost the Reds a win and all of them are pitching related. He has blown some outstanding efforts by his starters and in a short season they're only going to make 10-12 starts. Plus the fact we have to lead the league in striking out - just put the damn ball in play! Last night the Brewers won because that chubby batter had a check swing opposite field hit - he put the ball in play. Next guy doubles and the rally is on. The Reds need to win 3 of the final 4 to make it - unfortunately I'm afraid Bell will lose 2 games with his managerial moves. I hope I'm wrong!

Our middle relievers have been a nightmare. Even though they are in the thick of things they are still frustrating to watch. I thought this team was supposed to be an offensive machine. As a team they are hitting about 210.

I always root for an all Buckeye Fall Classic but i root for that other team in Ohio. That team up North to all you Reds Fans . If the Indians can get consistent offense this Postseason...... I honestly think the Tribe’s pitching is as good as anyone’s. It will be fun both the Indians and the Reds are finishing the season well.

Not to brag on my Tribe or anything but it’s funny to me on Non Covid years the Browns can put a 3-13 football team on the field and draw 60,000 to a home game...... I realize before I was born the Indians had a bad franchise but they’ve been pretty consistently good or contending for the last 30 years now and they struggle to draw 20,000. I love Cleveland Sports but I do think Congo fans are more of the baseball fans and Cleveland fans are more of the Football fans.

There's a great chance that Cleveland and Cincinnati will have the Cy Young winners this year - I think Bieber is a shoo in, maybe even unanimous unless someone votes for Mike Trout , and Trevor Bauer has to have the NL lead. If he pitches Sunday and gets a win he'll be a lock and he was on the Indians last year. How do they develop such great pitching? I think the last decent pitcher the Reds brought up through their system was Johnny Cueto and before that it was Tom Browning. Anyway, the Reds need to take 2 of 3 in Minnesota and I think they'll be in. I would not have imagined saying that 2 weeks ago. The only bummer is Bauer will be a free agent and the Reds won't be able to compete with the marquee teams. I think he's been the MVP of the team and his demeanor has created a much better clubhouse atmosphere in Cincinnati.

He could be a hothead, but you could visibly tell the guy was a competition and wore his emotions on his sleeve. He actually put out a really classy goodbye to Cleveland on his twitter page....... He’s a like able player, especially so if he’s on your team. The Indians have developed two to three more good arms they’ve started this year! I think the feeling in the Indians Front office is if you have good starting pitching you will remain competitive and they have an abundance of starting pitching in their minor leagues.
