I'm on board with Indiana!
in what seems like a weak year for Big 10 football, it would be great to see someone new in the Big 10 have a great season.
I don't think they'll beat Ohio State, but it is crucial for Indiana to beat Michigan and Michigan State in the next weeks.
I've currently got them in the Cotton Bowl

Not so sure Indiana has moved to the upper echelon yet. Ohio State will be a loss. MSU,ttun, and Wiscy will be tough. The rest of the games are not gimme's either. MSU did lose to Rutgers but they had 8 turnovers. If Indiana gets through with a 6 - 3 record it will be a very good year. My money is still on PSU for second place in the West.

Great to see some new blood in the Big 10
Penn State is 0-4
Michigan and Michigan State suck this year

Coach Allen is definitely joining that 'most with the least' group of the truly excellent coaches out there. He played his CF at something called Maranatha Baptist. Never heard of it but lots of NFL and FBS top coaches come from places like that

Maybe wait another season or two but definitely running low on gas, imo. The coach Fuente era at VT is definitely sputtering. I still think he's an excellent coach but a crappy recruiter. I think Bud Foster saw the recruited dearth of defensive talent coming in and that inspired his retirement. Bud wasn't exactly a great recruiter either.

Good question. Let's wait a season or two. The coach Fuente era at VT is running out of gas, imo, mostly due to lousy recruiting. I think Bud Foster saw the dearth of recruited talent on the horizon and that inspired his retirement.

I’ve been saying lay the points and take OSU all week. The way Indiana has gone 4-0 is not sustainable.
After watching all 4 of Indiana’s games, I really don’t think the game will be close this weekend.
Could see Ohio State winning 52-17

A little Indiana trivia :
The Hoosiers are 17-20 all time vs SEC teams yet have outscored the SEC opponents by a 25.3 to 25.2 average per game.
I don't think this fits common perception

Next game for Indiana is Maryland
I think the Terps could be tricky...Hoosiers can't sleep on this game

Next game for Indiana is Maryland I think the Terps could be tricky...Hoosiers can't sleep on this game This will be an interesting game. The last time Maryland played they housed Penn State but it will be 3 weeks since their last game. Indiana obviously showed a lot of character making a game of things over the weekend after falling behind 35-7. It's not uncommon for teams to follow-up an emotional game vs Ohio State by laying an egg. I'm hoping Indiana can win out but they certainly can't sleep on the Terps. Maryland is well rested but will they be rusty? Indiana spent a ton of emotional energy playing Ohio State, can they repeat that intensity this week?
