Oklahoma makes amazing comeback
Iowa will probably be #2 in the next poll
Alabama loses in College Station
Kentucky is 6-0, headed to Athens, GA next week ------
I don't really know what to think of Oklahoma....somehow they pull an amazing comeback out of a hat, but they've also been living on the edge the entire season. And now they have some new QB? They essentially pulled off a "Tua" comeback, like Alabama in the 2017 in the Championship, where they bench their starter, put in some young phenom that no one has heard about, and miraculously win the game. WTH
How did Alabama lose in College Station?? I think this greatly hurts their chance to make the playoff, knowing that Georgia will probably be waiting in Atlanta for them. Alabama finishes the season with Arkansas and Auburn as well.
What about Georgia? They look dominant, but their "easy schedule" at the beginning of the year has started producing unlikely contenders, as undefeated Arkansas came to town, and now Kentucky heads to Athens after beating Florida and LSU back to back.
Iowa will be #2...where do people put Cincinnati?? I think Bama drops below Cincinnati, but Oklahoma jumps them.

-Kentucky has been a great story so far and if they somehow find a way to beat Georgia look out! If Kentucky beats Georgia they could be 12-0 and find themselves playing Alabama for the SEC title….. I don’t think it’s gonna happen but there have been some funky things. You’re right Alabama lost a safety of losing in the SEC title game and still making the playoff with the loss to A&M last night……… assuming their isn’t a lot of chaos in the weeks ahead. Ohio State is starting to look much better and it may not matter if the rest of the Big Ten is improved this year if The Buckeyes are back to being the Buckeyes
I actually think at the end of the season we’ll have a 1) Georgia 2) Oklahoma 3) Ohio State 4) Cincinnati Or the committee may switch OSU and Cinci due to the Buckeyes loss and Cincinnati remaining unbeaten, but if Ohio State beats an unbeaten Iowa I also think they’d be rewarded for that win as well

How did Alabama lose in College Station??\ Really? Did you watch any of that game last night? Night Games in College Station are NUTSO! It's one of the loudest places in the country to play. They INVENTED the "12th Man" at A&M. The Aggies have been hurt with injuries this year. A couple of those guys where back on the field last night. They played their hearts out. ANY TEAM in the country could have lost that game last night. Now, next week... I'd bet the baby shoe money AGAINST A&M covering the spread.. no matter WHO they play. It had to be one heck of a party in College Station last night. So good, I bet a couple of kids from Austin drove down, just to join in. We did that once.

If Georgia wasn’t a monster this season, and Alabama didn’t virtually need to win out to make the CFP you might have me a little more intrigued….. by losing Bama has no safety net the rest of the season. Bama lost alot of experience to the NFL last season and honestly should have lost in the Swamp too……..the new guys just haven’t gotten use to playing on the Road in the SEC yet. If I were a brave betting man…….. I’d be tempted to lay a few $$$$ on Mississippi State. I don’t think MSU will beat Bama but they could push them a little

As soon as it left his foot, I went...OOF he hooked it...but SOMEHOW, it bent back right and through. Like Lane Kiffen was on the field with a giant fan to blow it through!

And that game was completely on-brand for Jimbo Fisher - awesome first half, a second half where it appeared they couldn’t do anything right .

I’m going to say something that you’ll probably disagree with………. Ohio States offense is ALOT better than Florida’s and it’s alot better than A&M’s if Bama gave up 41 to A&M….wouldn’t stand a prayer of shutting down the best receiving core in the country. The difference between Alabama and Ohio State is I believe right now Alabama could make one of two stops and that may be the difference in the game. I also still think the Buckeye defense is improving game by game and I would take you up on a bet if they play this season. To my original point though they lost a lot to the NFL last season and have almost gotten beaten both times on the road this season……:: doesn’t mean they aren’t still the best team in the country it just means the Bama youth on this team is still learning how to play on the road in the SEC. Mississippi State beat A&M and they are just wacky enough to put a scare into Bama if they are still licking their wounds from A&M

Ohio State's offense is #1 in the country so that's not really a bold statement - certainly better than Florida, A+M and Penn State for that matter. Far better than Iowa's. Iowa is basically Wisconsin in one of their better years. Very fundamentally sound, they don't beat themselves. But they don't have the athletes to stay with elite teams when the elite teams play their best. PSU would have beaten Iowa if their QB doesn't go down - hence, the Lions were not at their best. I recall OSU playing an undefeated Wisconsin team a few years back OSU made all kinds of mistakes to keep it close but the talent level at the skill positions was totally tilted to the Buckeyes side. JT Barrett played a bad game but the Bucks were just too good athletically - Wisconsin's QB was very pedestrian. I do think OSU had a better defense then but there's still time for this year's model to keep improving.

Ohio States offense is ALOT better than Florida’s and it’s alot better than A&M’s if Bama gave up 41 to A&M….wouldn’t stand a prayer of shutting down the best receiving core in the country. Why would I disagree with that? I don't think ANYBODY is playing offense better than Ohio State right now. Bama's defense has some things they need to work on. Besides losing a ton of plyers to the NFL, they've had a number of impactful injuries this year, particularly at linebacker. I think they're down to 3rd string at at least two positions. Of course, 3rd string at Bama typically still means a 4 or 5* player... just a younger one. A guy who hasn't been in "The Program" for more than a few months. They'll get better. A&M's offense had several key weapons BACK from injury in the Bama game.. that huge, dominating TE was one. They're playing a backup QB too, who's just now starting to play a little better. Next guy up is a walk-on. He'll probably be starting in another hit or two. Can't say how I'd bet on them in the future. Still more things could change. But, as of right now, I'd take Bama. Recent history suggests it's a good bet. I will say something that I bet HERO disagrees with: I was really disappointed that the refs waived off the Targeting call against Bama in the 4th quarter. I thought that was a VERY unnecessary, cheap hit. It's EXACTLY the kind of hit they should be trying to eliminate from the game. Whether you call it "targeting", or just "Unnecessary roughness", it should a penalty. PART of the problem is, (And this seems true at every level of football) refs simply refuse to BLOW THE WHISTLE when they should, "ie...when forward progress is stopped". They let the scrums just go on and on. It turns into nothing more than a wrestling match where defenses try to strip the ball. I'm sick of all the focus on stealing the blow. Quicker whistles would lead to fewer injuries.

Maybe Jimbo made a deal with the devil??!! Only time and eternity will tell. I guess if I see Jimbo when I get to the great (or not so great) beyond I'll know I'm in the wrong place.
