Tate Drageset has verbally committed to play on Washington's women's volleyball team and has been awarded a scholarhsip.
Only one issue, Drageset has a penis. He's a biological male.
He has concealed his biological identity.
What should (will) the NCAA do here?

They should set up regulations that your birth-assigned anatomy/chromosomes defines your gender for the purpose of NCAA competition. Where there is ambiguity they should have a private hearing before a governing board comprised of representatives from member institutions. A main emphasis of the hearing should be that no one gain an advantage over the non-ambiguous, from the predefined gender designation, competitors. Have the requisite lawyers clean that up and make it ncaa regulations. I really have no problem with people choosing their gender - as long as it doesn't infringe on others. When it does infringe on others, we have to go back to the gender assigned at birth where possible. The golden rule - treat others the way you would like to be treated. But that is not a 1 way street. That is way too often overlooked. What will they do? F it up probably.

If only, someone could convince a Democrat leader somewhere?

If only, someone could convince a Democrat leader somewhere? Read all my posts. Pure truth, no bias. Trump is a moron. And you have to be a moron to follow him. Biden (& Trump for that matter, but that isn't even close to what disqualifies him if you are a sane individual) is too f'ing old. Social Security ( AFTER earned based on retirement or REAL injury) is not an entitlement. We should study how to give incentives for school attendance & performance based on restricting or supplementing entitlements (hit 'em in the wallet to get them to be better parents). Clean up the disability abuse (btw, that INCLUDES in the military - note: talking about the fakers, not the true heroes - take better care of the real heroes with the billions in savings). Increase the penalties for computer hackers (the death penalty would be a good start if found guilty of stealing peoples savings - our privacy is infringed upon all the time, how about using it to find & prosecute these crimes!). I could go on, but apparently you aren't supposed to ruffle too many feathers with truth. I don't have the answers to everything. But that's what I want. Solutions. Not a bunch of garbage, spin, etc. Throw away the political labels & affiliations. Drain the swamp. Go ahead, try me.

It really doesn’t matter but did no one know this kid was transgender until recently? If anything they or it will probably get a nice check to tell their story on Lifetime TV.
A couple days ago in my crossword puzzle the clue was Champion swimmer Thompson, all I could do was shake my head.

Liberals paint themselves into corners and I laugh. I laugh a lot. As usual this issue falls somewhere in the middle. However, if I am choosing between the far left - who thinks that men at birth should be able to compete in women’s sports, or the far right - who thinks that transgenderism is either fake or should be eradicated… If this is the choice, I am going to pick the left every single time.

Imagine my surprise. As for me, I'll not choose either of those extremes. I think it sucks that those are the choices that are presented. Why can't we have the solutions, or at least "the best of the bad decisions", instead of extremism? Sometimes I think our country deserves people like Trump. I don't deserve it, but the morons sure get what they deserve with him. We drive out the only semi-decent politicians out there. And people embrace Trump. And MTG. And George Santos. And Lauren Boebert. And the list goes on, and on, and on... The only joke left regarding Idiocracy coming true is the fact that it only took a fraction of the 500 years that were predicted in the "comedy". I hope Trump and Biden both die or have debilitating injuries and/or illnesses. Take out the rest of the Republican candidates in the same way (I frankly don't know enough about the remaining Democratic candidates to include them). Pray for it in a hurry. Is it too late for a better candidate before the next Presidential election?

They are orders of magnitude apart. And the current administration is not extreme in their stance, they agree transgenders can be banned in sports for sake of competition of safety. Meanwhile the extreme right has tried to pass laws preventing adults from getting medical care. The choice is not between extremes, but even if it was, the choice would be very easy.
