I think Georgia still has the better amount of starters returning, but they've taken a blow to their depth. Beck coming back is good, but I wonder how much he'll actually play in this game.
For FSU, nearly the entire starting team is gone.
Tate Rodemaker went to the portal. Both starting WRs, 3 RBS (one having season ending surgery, 2 TEs.
So if you want to see a glorified spring scrimmage, tune into the Orange Bowl

I'm surprised that ESPN allowed Trevor Matich to say " I don't blame a single player , with pro aspirations, to skip these exhibition games " considering that the network is in the PSEG business, big time. BTW, I really like Matich and think he would be great in the booth.

And all of that talent the declared for the NFL draft, too. Kinda makes the CFP reasoning of "it's a 1 man team" ring very hollow.

Bowl Games are dead. I can say Orange Bowl and it still means something special to me. It is only a memory of what college football once was, sadly.

But, for many schools....they remain an end of year reward. A little fun for kids who put up with a LOT of stress during the semester. Who's against a little fun?
