Did you read that story about climate deniers? They're justifying this based on the way they went after cigarette companies when they were trying to deny the harmful affects of smoking.
What a leap. The harmful affects of smoking, while no doubt true... were WAY overblown by the government. It was always a nuanced, detailed technical discussion that NEVER had a chance of a fair hearing in the court of public opinion. Climate change is similar in that regard. But, the science is FAR LESS settled on this one.

The government's problem with cigarettes has little to do with health. I feel pretty confident saying they would be happy if everyone would drop dead just prior to receiving Social Security. They simply want us to die in a more economical fashion...OBamacare QED

I never understood the whole climate change deal. Who can possibly deny that the earth's climate is changing? The earth's climate has been changing non-stop since its birth, and will continue to change, from moment to moment, until its death.
Mankind will never be able to stop climate change. In fact, if climate change was to cease, it would be catastrophic for life on earth.
This whole preoccupation with constancy is nuts. 99% of all of the species of life that have ever existed on earth have gone extinct. Nearly 100% of the species of life that exist on earth today are destined to go extinct. Mankind is powerless to stop this inevitability.

Born of the global warming conspiracy which was a great political tool as long as the science wasn't examined. Politicians can say the sky is falling but I am against it so vote for me. Mr global warming Al Gore was up there for eight years and didn't fix it but still whines about it. OBama is going on eight years and he didn't fix it. Luckily the media doesn't raise such questions. A few people do and we are clearly planning to shut them up.

Marco Rubio, in last night's debate, was the first politician, bureaucrat or scientist I have heard to challenge the idiocy of "climate change", by stating the obvious -- that climate of the earth has always been changing, and that mankind is powerless to end climate change.
Rubio correctly pointed out that it is impossible to construct a law that would change global weather.

I might have to borrow this for use, when some of my bleeding heart FB friends start spouting their nonsense.
