What if Hillary wins the Democratic primary, but makes Bernie her VP....?
I think she would be much more formidable if she did that

It doesn't matter who the Dems run... they've got enough votes LOCKED IN to make them formidable.

She's beating Bernie in the South, but that's her stomping grounds...that's where her and Bill have created a large base among minority voters... In more "liberal" states, she's losing to Bernie If she were able to bring the Bernie vote along, I think that would be problematic for the Republicans....

In a battle of "WHO WILL GIVE ME MORE GOODIES"... Bernie is winning in places where people are the MOST liberal.
When either of them run against the "YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR A LIVING" Republicans? Their vote will be clear, no matter who has the D by their name.

Hillary can't win.
She does not excite her base. She will lose all of the new voters that Obama brought into the process.
Cruz beats her easily (especially looking state by state) and will even more so after the Rubio voters get on board. He gets the base out in droves.
If Trump is the nominee, he wins but for very different reasons. A lot of the base will stay home (as they have the last two elections), but he brings in a lot of normally unlikely voters. The likely voter screens are going to be way off. 7% of the voters in the Michigan GOP primary were democrats. That is not some organized scheme to sabotage the republican primary. Rather, it is (normally less likely) voters that are not impressed by Hillary and are scared of Bernie. These new voters would vote for Trump over either dem in the general. Trump would clean up in the industrial midwest, changing the electoral math.
Let's just hope that Rubio and Kasich play attack dog in the debate tonight and that Rubio uses his closing speech to suspend his campaign, endorse Cruz, and encourage his voters in Florida to vote for Cruz on Tuesday. Kasich can stay in through Tuesday as it now appears he may actually win and deny Trump those delegates.

Rubio has already signaled that he won't be attacking Trump any longer. I expect that Kasich will continue to play "mister nice guy".
I do expect that Rubio will suspend his campaign after Tuesday, but that Kasich will continue on and split the vote, thereby handing Trump the nomination.
I hope I am wrong, but if it winds up Trump v. Clinton, I believe that it will end of any hope of restoring governance under the Constitution, and will doom the American Dream. It won't make a lick of difference which one wins.
I have heard foreign leaders refer to the United States as an idea, rather than a country. This idyllic metaphor may soon disappear from the lexicon.

I am concerned about the U.S. falling under the control of a totalitarian dictator. Does that mean that you are concerned about the U.S. falling under the control of a maniacal totalitarian dictator?
If so, now that I think about Trump and Clinton, it would be hard for me to disagree with that.
