if you are capable of figuring out that Putin is a monster, why can't Trump? You are being too kind when you refer to the DNC is composed of cheating, lying, BS artists. They are far, far worse. You are an ignorant fool if you believe that the DNC could ever have any influence on me. However, I do have considerable respect for the professionals in the FBI and the U.S. intelligence services. When they concluded that the Russian government was interfering with the presidential election, that got my attention. I probably should be surprised that it doesn't concern you, but I'm not. I will tell you what I don't respect. The basis for this entire BS Story. The key claims are based exclusively on the unverified assertions of anonymous officials, who in turn are disseminating their own claims about what the CIA purportedly believes, all based on evidence that remains completely secret. These unnamed sources say “the CIA has concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the presidency, rather than just to undermine confidence in the U.S. electoral system.” The anonymous officials also claim that “intelligence agencies have identified individuals with connections to the Russian government who provided WikiLeaks with thousands of hacked emails” from both the DNC and John Podesta’s email account. Critically, none of the actual evidence for these claims is disclosed; indeed, the CIA’s “secret assessment” itself remains concealed.Patience, grasshopper. So far, it appears that the CIA alone has concluded that the motive of the Russian government was to boost Trump. The FBI and other intelligence agencies have not reached any conclusions as to the Russians motives. We do know that the Russians hacked computers associated with both parties, but chose to divulge only those emails stolen from Democrat computers. That certainly makes it appear that the Russians were firmly in Trump's camp, but that alone is not sufficient for the CIA to reach that conclusion of motive. As for the CIA's evidence of the Russian's motive, stay tuned. The CIA will have to come forward, in the coming investigation report and/or in testimony before a congressional hearing. I notice that you are hung up on the Russian's motive, but totally gloss over the consensus that the Russians hacked the computers of both Democrats and Republicans. That is the real issue. This doesn't concern Bevo. Does it concern you?

Hero: "Actually the FBI said: the assessment so far lacks definitive evidence."
Only as to motive. However, the FBI has not ruled out that the Russian's motive was to boost Trump.
The FBI has joined the CIA and other intelligence agencies in concluding that the Russian government was directing the computer hackings. That, regardless of motive, is the major issue.

Says who? I've seen several sources, including the head of the RNC, say this did NOT happen. I didn't say the RNC. I said GOP computers. The chair of the House homeland security committee, Texas Republican Mike McCaul, confirmed in a written statement that the Russians had hacked into the computers of Republican operatives. Republican operatives ? What the heck is that? Maybe Obama should have sent them a strongly worded letter asking them to stop ? Haters gonna hate. Hackers gonna hack. Buyer beware.

You should ask McCaul. He is a member of Trump's national security team. Unlike you, Hero and tigercpa, he takes Russian interference with our presidential election seriously: freebeacon.com/national-security/homeland-security-chair-demands-consequences-russia-hacks/

CIA says it will not brief Congress. Fire the head of the CIA Not true, but the CIA should brief Congress now. The truth is that the CIA said that it will brief Congress after the FBI-CIA investigation report, which will be before Inauguration Day.

The Wisconsin recount results are in, and I understand that Trump gained 162 votes. However, I haven't seen how many of the 3 million illegal aliens votes Trump has alleged were identified in the recount. Anyone know? Probably 3 million or more. Thats the consensus of the intelligence community. It's concsistent with modes and behaviors of previous two elections. Source, speaking anonymously, who were briefed onntenmatyer Terll us...

In intelligence-speak, that means we don't know, but we believe it to be true. This whole story is political bunk - kabuki theater to put fear and anger in the left to delegitimization trump . The Russians didn't hack the DNC, or the GOP. There is no evidence. It was an inside leak.

Ironically, the radical right once was the most strident foe of Russian dictators. Now, the radical right is the most strident apologist. The world is topsy-turvy. Liberals, who have historically been soft on Russian dictators, have become almost Reaganesque.
