The extremely 'unregulated' militia is at it again at a community college in Oregon. Every time I check the 2A it reads 'well regulated'. We need a literal interpretation to stop the gun slaughters.

) This will be done by someone on psychiatric meds. 2) The gun or guns will have been obtained by legal means. 3) Disarmists will use this event to push gun control that will in no way address or prevent this situation. 4) This will have occurred in a ‘gun free zone’.
Since 1950 only one case of a mass gunfire has happened outside of a Gun Free Zone.
And, seems like a huge uptick in the last 7 years, too...

Again, the phrase "well-regulated" has nothing to do with laws and regulations (as we use the term today).

This stuff would be rare if the militia was, indeed, 'well regulated' as intended. Surly you've quit the gun peddling NRA by now haven't you, cpa ?

"necessary for a well regulated militia" ....the Bill Of Rights writers said we can keep guns...but there is no sign, whatsoever, of any well regulated militia out there so maybe we shouldn't have 350 million guns The other industrialized nations have figured this out.....that hundreds of millions of guns floating around in society is not a good idea but, of course, they don't have NRA type lobbies protecting the gun industry.

Over 50 people have been shot in each of the past two weeks in Chicago, and nary a peep of concern from Obama and not a mention from BH.
So, how are the strictest gun control laws in the U.S. working for Chicago?

It's not the numbers, it's the sensationalism.
Same thing happens with automobiles. On average 90 people die per day in automobile accidents, but it is sensationalized news when 6 teens die in an accident on prom night.

It's an archaic use of the term dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries... well-regulated = well coordinated, timely...as in being able to all fire your musket at the same time in formation, because one guy can't be firing and spraying sparks all around when others are loading powder, etc. it's where the clocks got their moniker.
In literature of the time, you will see passages like "300 well-regulated soldiers held off attackers numbering far greater"

The Oregon militiaman's father has stated that it's ridiculous that anybody can accumulate such an arsenal of semi-auto hand guns and assault weapons like his son did......and that pretty well nails the problem in our shoot 'em up, gun violence obsessed society...like no other in the world ( among so called advanced nations)

I know people that have over 100 guns, a couple that have 500 or more, in custom vaults in their houses.
If they have the money and act responsibility, why can't they?
---------------
Anyway, in this case we now know who bought the guns, the mother....to keep her little boy happy, because he was frustrated d and would bang his head on the wall.
Almost all of these mass killers have announced to the world their mental illness. Once upon a time we have put them away to protect the populace from their lunacy. Moreover, pronouncements of “gun free zones” provide a safe environment for these deranged souls to carry out there diabolical fantasies.
Just like Adam Lanza, he telegraphed what he was going to do, but rather than make a tough decision as a parent, she bought him guns. Mom was a nurse and knew her son was to ill to be around firearms. Dad blames the gun (of course).
Why hasn't his manifesto been released? Dylan Roof's was released ASAP and all over the place. This one is tighter than a nun's...
Probably because it counters the narrative that the media and Obama have set...

Maybe, the father should have stuck around and been a DAD... instead of popping off about a 2nd Amendment that he doesn't understand.

CPA ....so the answer basically is even 'more guns' and that'll stop 297 Americans from getting shot every day on average ? Hmmm sounds good to me.

More than half of those are people shooting themselves.... committing suicide. You think taking guns away will prevent suicide?
