It's covered on all their websites... I don't really see a "gun control" angle here??

No AR 15 NJ strict gun laws Turf related gang battle
no demands for a “national conversation”, no CNN Town Hall for 3 hours

The well regulated militia operates everywhere Mostly true, although these gang bangers would not be considered part of the well regulated milita.
According to the Founders, all law-abiding citizens are part of the militia. The "whole of the people".
The Bill of Rights is essentially a list of "shall nots" for the government.

Ha !! Check your dictionary, cpa. Look up the word 'militia', then when you learn what that is look up 'regulated' and then add the adjective 'well'. When you put all that together see if it perfectly describes thousands and thousands of gun nuts running around with deadly NRA promoted 'weaponry'.

I don't need a dictionary for that. The Founders and language of the time tell us what we need to know.
Militia:
Virginian George Mason told us: “I ask, Sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”
Every able bodied male, 49 and under, 18 and over, is considered "non uniformed militia"..i.e., not part of the standing army.
Well regulated:
Properly calibrated and functioning. Being in proper working order.

We're both gun owners. Who is your militia unit's commanding officer and and how often does your local militia unit meet and where ? Are there any training sessions ? I still don't know any of the officers in my local well regulated militia unit or where to go for meetings or training sessions. I'm trying to be a good well regulated militiaman but there are no published guidelines or instructions of any kind to be found.....but I'll keep looking.

No need to worry about formal officers, meetings or training sessions. There aren't any for the citizen militia.
All you need to be is ready to take action to defend yourself or work with your neighbors in the event there is an emergency to respond to.

Another record month for gun sales and background checks.
New estimate is Americans own 400,000,000 guns.
Civilians own roughly 170,000 fully automatic machine guns. Class 3 FFL dealers own the other 330,000 full auto guns which cannot be transferred to civilians.
A transferable machine gun will cost you anywhere from $6,000 ( a crappy mac-10) to over $200,000, if you want one.

Here you go, cpa..the NRA GUN OF THE WEEK !! This ought to get some pretty impressive results in schools, theaters, concerts, churches, etc...don't you think ?... and it's kinda cool looking
It's manufactured by ISRAEL WEAPONRY CO, has a 30 round capacity, and is affordable at only $2000 retail. ( probably much better deals out there ) Shoots the standard 5.65MM AR style bullet.

Agree - has a cool look to it.
Have considered adding a bullpup rifle to my collection at some point...
My .308 cost me about 2,000 as well, and by the time I added optics, laser, light , grips- i'm in 4,000 territory. But, I can hunt most anything in North America with that rifle.
As you know, the 5.56 round is a pretty good varmint rifle, but not so much for really big game.
Not sure how impressive the results will be in schools, churches, etc, given that rifles like this one are rarely used in these locations, or shootings more generally.
