So, Auburn loses to blind refs?
Go figure.
Thus this tourney is tainted.
If Va plays TT in the final, I predict the O/U is less than 50!! đ

Auburn folks celebrate when they see all zeroes on the clock...but no. Three shots from the stripe for glory. JUSTICE PREVAILS

It was a pleasure to see Auburn play. Sorry they got screwed.
Auburn would never ever have been 'voted' into the final four .
Playing is light years superior to voting

Playing is light years superior to voting Football also PLAYS for a title now. The only difference is, the number of teams in the tourney. Auburn was never one of the best four teams in the country, they just caught a couple of lucky breaks in an single-elimination tourney.

How the hell did Texas Tech get so good at basketball? They hired the right coach! He's been at Tech the same length of time Shaka has been at Texas.... Tech made the Elite 8 last year, and Finals this year. But, hey! We did Win a National Championship! lololol!!!

If Va plays TT in the final, I predict the O/U is less than 50!! đ In all honesty, who knew that what the UVa kid did was double dribble - I certainly didn't. I've been watching basketball since 1969 and had no clue you couldn't bounce the ball off your foot, pick it up after a bounce or two on the floor and keep dribbling. Obviously refs should know it but as it played out I had no idea a violation had occurred. I also thought, while it was a tough call, the foul on the 3 point shot was a foul. But where I think Auburn really lost the game was when they fouled the kid who was fumbling the ball around to stop the clock. There's no way he would have gotten a good shot off from where he was with less than 2 seconds to play. That was situation where having a foul to give ultimately cost them the game.

Who in the world did NOT know that was double dribble? My wife was yelling at the tv! Hell, my grand-daughter was yelling at the TV and crying for Auburn. It was totally unacceptable to miss that call, and the refs should be banned for life!!! Oh wait.... you said âin all honestyâ? Um... I *think* I knew it was DD. It didnât look right. But, no... I didnât know. But hey, I only coached for 8 years!

Exactly, I coached my kids through the 6th grade and if they would have called double dribble every time a kid bounced the ball off his foot, there would have been a violation on almost every possession. Maybe they should do like the NFL, overreact and create new and even more ridiculous rules since the refs missed that call in a NC semi-final.

I donât think it was double dribble. I didnât then and donât now. It was... very clearly, when you see what he did. He can run the ball down, no problem. But, once picked up? Have to pass it away.
