Yet, Michigan shuts 'em out and locks in a final four slot. Does any sucker who buys this BCS/CFP championship fraud for CF think Michigan would ever, ever have been 'VOTED' into a final four if Baseball used such a bullshit mythical system ? Competition decides final fours, not conference room beauty contests.

No... In football, no team is going to slog through a moderately successful season, and then be voted into a semi-final. And, I'm FINE with that.
Football doesn't have a BLOATED field like baseball or basketball. They can't. There's just not enough room in the schedule for teams that only play once per week.
For fairness sake, Baseball and Basketball SHOULDN'T have such bloated fields. But, the NCAA doesn't care about fairness, they just want $$$$.
The current football system is not mythical bullshit. It's real teams playing real schedules, trying to get into a very limited playoff field. Followed by very real semi-finals and a Championship game.
The fact that YOU don't like it, doesn't make it mythical.

The NCAA cares about 'inclusion' and a fair shot for all in its team sports championships, Bevo. That's why Michigan makes the final 4...why Coastal Carolina was a national champ, why Loyola was a final four team etc.etc etc. The CARTEL & ESPN care only about 'EXCLUSION' in their private CF invitational 3 game bowl event.
Therefore no college sports team that would not have been 'voted' into a final or semi-final champ game could ever be a legitimate champion, right ?

no... there are lots of way to determine a "legitimate" champion. Tournaments are certainly one way.
I would prefer a method that has sports writers VOTING for a champ than one that lets a crappy, undeserving team sneak into a playoff and get lucky.

Agree. No reason to have an 8-4 or 7-5 team from North Fartsburg State in a playoff with Bama and tOSU. Your daily reminder that the NCAA refused to take action against UNC for running an academic fraud scam for years.

Louisville sent Auburn home today in a really exciting game. Some gutsy defense and clutch pitching from the Cards.

Two years ago we we had 2 teams that played in the national championship game which both lost to Auburn. We also had a team that went 14 - 0 and beat Auburn. That same year we crowned a champion that was not good enough to compete in its own conference championship game as the National Champion? Seems mythical to me.

As usual.
Things like:
Auburn HAD a fair chance to be in the CFP. They lost. The 14-0 team that beat them played NO ONE all year, before the CFP. Oh.. and, BTW, they were NOT 14-0, they were 13-0. They missed a game during the season. A miss that might well have helped them get in the CFP.

You are correct in the 13 - 0 however I think you clearly overlooked a few details as well.
Vs the committees own top 25 during the selection process UCF Beat #20 2 times Alabama best #17 and #23 and lost to #7. Then you have an undefeated UCF who won their conference championship vs a 1 loss Alabama that did not even qualify for the conference championship game. As part of the committees standards conference championships are suppose to matter.
All things being considered, the fact that UCF went undefeated and beat Auburn who gave UGA and BAMA there only loss should leave doubts in everybodys mind on if this was mythical or not.
Did I leave out any facts this time.
