Both the Mississippi schools will be ranked in the playoff poll - have to boost LSU’s resume….

Second prediction. Iowa will beat Nebraska and win the West. They will have the exact same record as the Mississippis but will not be ranked as they took on the chin form both ttun and tOSU

If Brian Frerentz is still employed on Monday then his dad shouldn’t be.

Not sure if ranking the Mississippi schools has much impact, but whatever it takes to get as many SEC teams into the playoffs.
The goal of the playoffs to get the best teams competing against each other, which means as many SEC teams as possible.
Also if you like seeing SEC teams lose, the best chance to see an SEC team lose is when they are facing another SEC team!

I predict OSU doesn’t need to worry about the CFP committee OSU has placed their destiny in the hands of Utah and Kansas St. I think they should have played a tougher schedule to prepare them to overcome adversity. JMHO

JMHO Playing 9 conference games and OOC they played 2 FBS teams and 1 top 5 P5 team. Seems pretty tough to me.

The Big 10 has been an absolute cakewalk this year...
And just look at Ohio State's opponents' records:
Notre Dame 8-4 Arkansas State 3-9 Toledo 7-5 Wisconsin 6-6 ***fired coach
Rutgers 4-8 @ Michigan St. 5-7 Iowa 7-5 @ Penn State 10-2 @ Northwestern 1-11 Indiana 4-8 @ Maryland 7-5 Michigan 12-0
Its basically a 2-game season. It took Notre Dame a few games to start playing well. Just four road games in that span!
The Big 10 is soft this year...IMO, Michigan doesn't look any better than Kansas State or South Carolina. It will show in the bowls and the playoff...

You and Hero should try to get on with the payroll at ESPN as you have clearly swallowed the kool-ait Here is a look at both power house of their conferences tOSU vs BAMA schedule. Please explain to me where BAMA is any better than tOSU. The only thing to back you claim is that you buy the statement that the BIG is a cakewalk. Just ask Auburn what it is like when you invite a BIG team to your stadium. tOSU BAMA Michigan 12-0 Tennessee 10 - 2 @ Penn State 10-2 @lsu 9 - 3 Notre Dame 8-4 Texas 8 - 4 @ Maryland 7-5 @ole Miss 8 - 4 Iowa 7-5 Miss St 8 - 4 Wisconsin 6-6 @arky 6 -6 @ Michigan St. 5-7 Auburn 5 - 7 Rutgers 4-8 TAM 5 - 7 Indiana 4-8 Vandy 5 - 7 @ Northwestern 1-11 Arkansas State 3-9 Utah St 6 -6 Toledo 7-5 ULM 4 - 8 No FCS Teams Austin Peay 7 -4

this year, I would argue the Big XII, SEC, and PAC 12 are tops, and the Big 10 and ACC are awful
But by your own example, Alabama has a tougher schedule, playing @tennessee, @texas, @lsu, @ole Miss, and Miss St. That stretch which is primarily on the road is tougher than anything the Big 10 has to offer. Alabama went 3-2 and nearly lost to Texas
You keep citing the Penn State-Auburn game, but Auburn has sucked for two years straight...they fired their head coach
we'll see how the bowls and playoff play out, but don't be surprised if Michigan gets blown out in the playoff and the Big 10 gets mauled in the bowls
