This is going to be hard. There are so many. A lot I use in regular conversation, like "Houston we have a problem" and "You're killing me Smalls" So many movies have great lines. I'll have to think on this one

ACC is waiting on Notre Dame, IMHO. If ND decides to go full football, then the ACC is "saved". They can expand more if need to, and they will need to. If ND decides to stay the status quo, then the ACC is "OK". If ND elects to go to the Big 10, then the ACC will be in scramble mode.

First bowl loss by a Sun Belt team
Western Kentucky is a good team.

They play in the Sun Belt West and have a new stadium in Mobile, where they are located. Defense is good, not great and have a balanced offense, but like to rely on the run.

While the season is not over, UNC has 3 games left. 2 at home and the CCG in Charlotte. While the Ga. Tech game is a trap game that they should win, the NC State game and Clemson will be against two teams that are good and could beat the Tar Heels. But if the Heels win out, they will be ACC champs and sitting at 12-1. With that said, should they be in the playoff? They'd be like a lot of the other contenders, a 1 loss team but would be a conference champion. They have a very good offense and a very good quarterback. I know, they are in the ACC Coastal and "didn't play anybody and their record wouldn't be the same if they played in the (fill in the conference)". "They play no D". Just wondering. Of course, a lot depends on them winning out. Let the discussions begin.

Interesting thought. But if those 2 schools would rather stay in the "Metro" American, the SBC could expand by going after Middle Tenn. and W. Kentucky in the CUSA. Both are good schools, play good football and fit the current division set.

James Madison is in a transition year and not eligible for any bowl games, regardless of their record. Had a great comeback against my Mountaineers. Shut us out in the 2nd half

It has been crazy. And this is JMU's 1st Sun Belt game. This has been too much excitement for a fat old man with heart problems. LOL

As usual, I was there. I was thinking "We've lost 2 games at home" then the Hail Mary and BOOM! a touchdown. The stadium erupted. And the Hail Mary was a team effort. The one receiver to bat it around so it could be caught and the block by the other receiver. Miracle on the Mountain Part 2

ESPN's Game Day will be broadcasting from Appalachian State this Saturday (09/17/22). First time ever there. There should be a large and wild crowd. FYI, the university is going to give one year's tuition to the student with the best sign and $100 food cards to some runner's up.
I'll be at the tailgate, as the broadcast will be on Sanford Mall, not close to the stadium. Center of campus.
