Get UCF into the 'Invitational' If they had played anybody, they would have a shot, but being 7-0 with the 99th toughest schedule isn't going to turn many heads.

The CFP loses all pretense of credibility as long as it is all about the schedule a team plays, rather than how a team performs relative to its schedule. The SOS ruse automatically disqualifies every G5 conference team before the season even begins.

Danny Kanell is an easy read, like a comic book.

No respect for Wisconsin or Miami, but they are undefeated
1. Alabama 2. Georgia 3. Miami FL 4. Wisconsin
There are no conference champs at this point in the season, so you have to go with W/L

I'd much rather have an SOS weighted component than a MOV weighted component. I want teams that have performed well against stronger teams, not a directional state university that has beaten every other directional state university by 45 points.

The Gamecocks want Bama...so they say...they believe that their program has closed the gap between them and Clemson and are ready to play.
Let's review their schedule, shall we:
Tennessee: 0-5 in the conference Arkansas: 1-4 in the conference Vanderbilt: 0-5 in the conference Missouri: 0-4 in the conference Louisiana Tech: Which required a miracle to win by one point and NC State: Which is their only good win…

Strength of record is highly correlated to Cte results.

Incorporating MOV into the methodology, in appropriate balance with SOS. Assume that Alabama would be projected to defeat a weak team by 30 points, and UCF actually defeats that same team by 30 points. Under the current system, UCF would not be credited for its decisive win, and would be punished for playing a weak opponent.

Nope....its a Cartel event only, Seriously : Take a look at BAMA's N/C schedule : (one single so called P5 very weak opponent) Florida St. Fresno St. Colorado St. Mercer and UCF's N/C schedule : ( twice as many P5 opponents) FIU Georgia Tech Maryland Maine
